Softening Into The Body: A Self-Kindness Practice
by Ember Hill
This meditation invites you to soften into your body through the practice of self-focused loving-kindness (Metta-inspired). You’ll be gently guided to offer compassionate attention to different areas of your body, working from the feet upward, with space to repeat phrases of kindness or simply rest in awareness. This practice is not about fixing or changing anything—it’s about meeting your body just as it is, with tenderness and care. This meditation was deeply influenced by the meditation & teaching “Loving Kindness Toward the Body” taught by Trudy Goodman. There is no background music, so you may choose to listen as is or have soft music playing in the background as you listen, and connect with your body.
