That's it,

So get yourself nice and comfortable,

Make sure you can hear my voice and you can hear the rattling which I'll start in a moment.

Just to frame the journey,

I'm going to invite you,

We're going to go down to the lower world which is the place of our unconscious,

Of our power,

And we're going to go and meet the,

It might sound intangible for now,

The spirit of our contraction,

So the energy that we've been talking about tonight,

We've felt in our own ways,

Our own unique ways,

Subtle but also perhaps extreme,

And anything in between the two,

The energy of this contraction and we're going to have a conversation with it and then we're going to also ask for some healing for it.

The fan's going again,

Isn't it?

Let me see,

Yeah.

It might be a bit of background noise with the fan,

But we're going to do our best,

I'm going to do our best to speak loud and speak over the fan and just use the sound of the fan in the journey.

So close your eyes and start by taking a few deep breaths,

Breathing into your belly.

Exhaling through the mouth and sinking into the chair,

Sinking into the sofa.

Allow yourself to really surrender your body,

Your mind,

Really relaxing,

Letting go of the day,

The week,

The month,

Of the year.

There's nowhere to go right now,

There's no one that you need to be,

There's nothing that you need to do.

Take another nice gentle breath into your belly and relax.

Imagine that you're relaxing so much that you're melting and dropping into the floor,

As if the sofa or the couch opens up and you start to float downwards as you're breathing gently held as you're floating downwards,

Down,

Down,

Down towards the lower world.

Feel this with your body,

With your energy,

See it in your mind,

Know that you are held,

You are guided and you are safe.

As you float downwards,

Eventually you land on a patch of grass,

Perhaps you'll barefoot on this patch of grass,

Really feeling it,

Noticing yourself standing in the middle of a beautiful clearing with trees surrounding you.

Above you the sky,

The earth below,

You can look around you taking the sights,

The sounds and the smells,

Noticing perhaps an animal or two or more that have appeared to greet you.

If you've met your spirit or a spirit animal before,

Maybe he or her is here,

Maybe these are new friends that allow this or these animals to guide you,

To guide you from this clearing into the forest.

They guide you through the trees on a beautiful path and they guide you until you get to a well in the forest.

And in this well is the spirit of your contraction,

Let's call it,

The part of you,

The aspect of you that in these times of lockdown or quarantine or isolation is here.

You look down into this well,

Into the darkness,

Into the depths and you call up the spirit of your contraction.

And from the depths a black mist starts to form climbing up the well.

You feel safe with it,

You know this part.

You take a step back and you allow this mist to pour out of the well.

As it pours out of the well it forms a figure in front of you.

It could be any figure,

It could be an animal,

A human,

A character,

It could be anything,

It could be an object,

The spirit of your contraction forming in front of you.

Notice how that feels,

How it looks,

How it sounds.

And I invite you to ask this spirit a question that's burning.

It could be something like,

Why are you here?

What do you need?

What do I need to learn?

What do I need to heal?

I'll give you some moments to have a conversation with this spirit.

I'll give you some moments to have a conversation with this spirit.

Notice what the answer is to the question,

What do you need to heal,

To transform?

And in this journey,

Give this spirit what it needs to heal.

As you do this,

Inviting in any guides,

Teachers,

Spirits,

Your ancestors,

Any power animals to support the healing of this contraction.

It's not about bypassing it,

It's about really honoring it,

Receiving the gifts of it and transforming it.

Now in this moment,

But also moving forwards.

Take a moment to really invite that and ask that and choose that.

Notice any change in this spirit that's formed in front of you.

In this vision you can say any last words,

Any final words,

Some thank you,

Bowing down and honoring,

Intention,

Whatever you choose to say as a way of closing this conversation.

Maybe even hugging the contraction,

Filling it with love.

And then allowing it to descend back into the well and following the animals that are still there,

Back to the clearing,

Back to the grass,

Through the forest.

Taking one last look at the forest around you and feeling yourself floating upwards,

Returning,

Returning upwards through the couch,

The sofa,

The chair,

Into your body,

Into this moment,

This physical plane.

Giving yourself a bit of a massage,

A stretch,

A wiggle and then gently in your own time opening your eyes.
