Welcome to this meditation that provides a space for you to connect with your inner wisdom with the wise woman within with Sophia wisdom for the spirit of wisdom and any other ways that you would want to name your deep inner wisdom this wisdom resides in our true nature,
The essence of our being,
Hidden in spirit the place where we are in union with the beloved this wisdom is always available to us and resides within our being as we practice stillness and connecting with our inner wisdom we can learn to listen to it throughout the day it will help us when we are discerning and making decisions it will help us know what we need in any given moment and it will be a source of comfort and strength when we walk through difficulty arriving at this meditation i invite you to take three deep breaths expanding your lungs as far as they will go and pausing at the top of the inhale exhaling slowly and fully pausing at the end of the exhale repeat this breathing pattern three times let your breathing return to normal and as it does allow your body to sink into the chair or into the ground notice where you may be holding tension breathe into those places of tension and let them go releasing and relaxing allowing your body to be supported and held by the ground or the chair begin to welcome stillness and peace as you connect with your body let your attention begin at the top of your head and slowly move down through your entire body imagining liquid honey moving slowly down and through you let it come down across your forehead and your face your ears your neck your neck slowly moving across your shoulders your shoulder blades and your arms through your chest and heart space through to your rib cage and your lungs your belly and your digestive system let it gradually move along your back and down your spine all the way to the base let it fill your pelvic bowl and spill over into your hip joints slowly moving down your legs across the knees slowly down to your feet let your whole body be bathed in the goodness of this liquid honey let your whole body begin to come to stillness and deeper rest once more scanning your body and noticing where your deep inner wisdom resides let wisdom lead you there once you sense her presence begin to bring your full attention to her it may help to place your hands on the part of your body where she lives simply offer her your presence and let her know that you are here to listen and to receive what she wants to offer you in this moment she may bring her offerings in the form of something you hear or sense or see or remember allow her to meet you as she desires to meet you and as you most need her do you have a specific question for her at this time you may want to ask that question within the silence of yourself or out loud if that's helpful notice what it's like to connect with her this deep inner spirit wisdom will always know what you need let her tell you what you need in this moment as you may continue with this practice and get to know the sound of your deep inner wisdom as you grow into connecting with her and letting her bring her gifts and help guide your life remember that her voice will only ever come with love and kindness with goodness and grace and that her deepest desire is to take care of you and to offer you wisdom that is the best for you and your life she will never criticize or condemn or bring harsh words may we together grow in walking with and listening to the voice of wisdom within us may we live from that place of union with the beloved amen
