The third week after surgery or a medical procedure may bring a desire to do more, even as the body continues to heal at its own pace. This meditation, inspired by practices that supported me during week three after a hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, uses a guided anchor breath and reflects on the power of “yet.” While not specific to any procedure, it reminds us that power is not lost simply because the body is not ready. Sending wishes for patience, trust, and growing strength.
