A guided journey to help you relax deeply and fall into a deep and blissful sleep.
This meditation will guide you through a process of deep relaxation using soothing imagery and gentle breathing techniques.
You will also receive positive suggestions which will help you to calm your mind and prepare you for a restful night.
To begin,
Make sure you are ready for sleep.
Lay down and make yourself comfortable on your bed.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Repeat this a few more times,
Letting go of any tension or stress with each exhale.
With each breath,
Think of expelling any emotions you wish to let go of.
Bring your attention to your feet,
Feel them resting on the mattress,
And imagine a warm and soothing golden light enveloping them and filling them with relaxation.
It feels like placing your weary feet into a warm foot bath.
Feel your feet becoming heavy and relaxed.
Now imagine the light moving up to your lower legs and thighs.
Experience the deep relaxation spreading through them,
Releasing any tightness or discomfort,
As if you are gently being lowered into a bath of warmth and light.
Let this warming golden light move up to your torso and whole abdomen.
Feel the relaxation spreading through your whole core,
Relaxing your muscles and organs.
Let the light move to your shoulders,
Your arms,
Feel the soothing embrace of the golden healing light soak in,
Gently relaxing your bones and joints.
Let the light move up to your neck,
To your head,
Your face and your scalp.
Feel deep relaxation spreading through your whole head,
Relaxing your jaw,
Your eyes,
Ears,
Your forehead.
Let the soothing light envelop your entire body and fill it with calmness and relaxation.
Feel it soaking into you,
From the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
You are enclosed within this soothing and gentle radiance.
Notice how deeply relaxed and ready for sleep you are,
As you lie there,
Comfortable and relaxed.

I want you to imagine you are lying on a soft and cozy cloud that gently supports you and carries you across the night sky.
You feel weightless and free as you float on the cloud.
There is no tension in your body,
Nothing but the relief of being completely supported,
Safe and calm.
It is more comfortable than the best bed,
Cushioning each limb.
Above you,
The stars illuminate the sky.
Some glitter with a blue white light,
Others a warmer red.
There are streams of thickly clustered stars and others twinkle alone.
Their light touches you and it feels like a soft tingle,
Like healing that passes through your skin into your cells.
Feel that sense of wonder and awe as you gaze at the vastness of the universe and feel connected to it,
At one with it.
You are made of star stuff and the stars feel as if they recognise this and shine down on you in kinship.
Their light sinks deeper into you,
You feel as if you are filled with stars,
Their healing brilliance is within you.
You are at the heart of the bright silence that lies beneath the faint singing of the stars.
You are just floating,
Supported,
Safe and warm.
You can just let go of everything,
You are now in a state of complete relaxation and sleepiness.
Nothing can disturb you,
You are safe and secure as you allow yourself to drift gently into sleep.
