Hello,
This is Angie and welcome to this sleep meditation.
I will be leading you with my voice into a relaxed state using positive affirmations.
I'll take you through an easy gentle body scan,
Then spend some time with you sharing positive affirmations as you drift off to sleep.
Positive affirmations can help in rewiring our brains from negative thoughts.
When repeating a thought or action,
It becomes part of the physical structure of your brain consciously,
Subconsciously,
And unconsciously.
First,
Let's get comfortable in your bed.
Pause this meditation if you need to until you are the most comfortable that you can be to fall asleep.
Now that you are comfortable,
Bring your awareness to the surface below you.
Feel the connection of your body to your bed.
Feel the blankets or clothes or the air touching your skin.
Feel any physical sensations around you.
Notice how you are breathing right now with no judgment.
Now,
Start taking a few deep breaths in and out,
Filling up your stomach and then deflating your stomach.
Slowly and deeply through your nose with ease and out through your nose with ease.
Now start to bring your awareness to your toes and your feet.
Take a couple of seconds here to wiggle your toes and rotate your ankles in one direction and then the other.
Now letting go,
Now letting go,
Softening and releasing any leftover tension in your feet.
Notice the weight of your heels touching the surface below them.
Any sensations such as vibrations.
As we continue through this gentle body scan,
Pause in the areas you feel the most tension.
Take a breath in and on your breath out,
Breathe into the area of tension and visualize it melting into the surface below you.
Slightly start to move up to your lower legs,
All around the back and the front.
Take a deep breath in and out in this area.
Scan up around your knees and thighs,
All around the back and the front.
Take another deep breath in and out,
Releasing any tension in these areas.
Scan up around your hips,
Your pelvis and your stomach.
Move up around your whole torso,
The back and the front,
The mid back to your upper back and all around the front of your chest and rib cage.
Take a deep breath in and sigh a breath out.
Move all the way over your shoulders,
Both arms,
Your upper arms and your forearms into your fingers and all the way back up your arms to your shoulders.
Scan up over your throat and around the back of your neck,
Moving up around your jaw,
Releasing your tongue,
The muscles in your ears and cheeks,
Around your eyes and temples,
Your forehead,
Releasing any tension,
Letting it melt away,
And all of your scalp around the front all the way to the back.
Spend a few breaths here,
Noticing any of these areas if they're tense and breathe into those areas and release.
Now that you're more relaxed,
Bring your breathing back to its natural rhythm,
Just noticing how your body feels.
Spend a few breaths here and adjust any tension you may still have using your breath.
As you drift off to sleep,
I will remind you of all the beautiful things that are already yours.
Even if you don't believe it now,
That's okay.
Passively listen and slowly allow yourself to fall asleep with the comfort of these peaceful words.
You may fall asleep,
But if you don't,
Just keep following my voice as it starts to fade off into the distance.
I will stay with you for a while,
Then leave you with calm,
Quiet background music to keep sleeping undisturbed.
Breathe in and out and hear these words.
I allow everything to be as it is.
I release any expectations I have in anything in my life.
I am worthy of positive changes in my life.
I am free from the thoughts that hold me back.
I am aligned with the energy of abundance.
I release anxiety and worry.
I attract loving and positive people into my life.
I let go of all the things that I cannot control.
In this moment,
I am safe and secure.
I am relaxed and calm.
I am,
I care for myself because I love myself.
My life is abundant and fulfilling.
I know I love who I am.
I release what no longer serves me.
I have everything that I need.
I feel so peaceful.
I deserve to feel joy.
I am calm,
Happy,
And content.
I am doing my best and that's enough.
I am worthy of respect and acceptance.
I attract abundance into my life.
Everything will be okay.
I deserve all good things.
I am so,
So relaxed.
I prioritize my well-being.
I am love,
And I am love.
I am safe and supported.
I fill my own cup with overflowing love and energy.
I am so deeply relaxed.
I am calm.
I am having the most amazing sleep.
I am love.
