Witnessing the passing of my beloved dad was not easy. I felt lost. I choose to give myself all the time I need to go through my painful emotions.

I am choosing to go through this without holding back.

While feeling my pain,

I choose ways I can still feel and see the love in the world and around me.

I am moving through grief with the time I need.

I stay open to explore all my feelings and emotions.

I nourish myself with love and kindness by self-caring actions and nourishment.

I try to do one new thing a day that will lift my spirit up.

I try to choose daily activities that will support me.

I choose to start something new.

I let myself be guided by my intuition.

Death is a new birth.

Today is a new day to a new me.

I am learning to discover this new me.

When help is offered,

I choose to accept it for my health.

I choose to take this situation as an opportunity to living my own life to the best of my abilities.

I choose to be gentle with myself as I process my own emotions.

I choose to be gentle with my health,

My mind,

My body,

To heal the way it needs to heal.

I am gentle with myself.

I take one baby step at a time.

I choose to be gentle with myself as I process my emotions.

I focus on my blessings and my goals.

I am grateful for my memories.
