Welcome,
I'm Teresa,
And this is part of the What If series,
A collection of meditations exploring possibility,
Safety,
And gentle expansion.
Find a comfortable position,
Let your body settle into the space around you,
Let your breath lengthen just slightly.
Today,
We're exploring a quiet but powerful question.
What if you're already becoming?
There is often a feeling that growth lives somewhere ahead of us.
After the breakthrough,
After the healing,
After the clarity,
After the courage.
But what if becoming is not a future event?
What if it's happening now?
Take a slow breath in,
And I invite you to think about the version of you that existed one year ago,
Without judgment,
Just gently observing.
What did they not know yet?
What were they still learning?
What felt impossible then,
That feels familiar now?
Let that land gently.
You are not standing still.
Even in seasons that felt quiet,
Even in seasons that felt stuck,
Even in seasons that felt heavy,
Growth does not always announce itself.
Sometimes it whispers.
Sometimes it looks like responding instead of reacting.
Resting instead of collapsing.
Choosing differently in small ways.
Telling one more truth.
I invite you to place one hand on your chest if it feels okay.
Feel your heartbeat.
Your body has been changing since the moment you were born.
Your cells renew.
Neural pathways rewire.
Breath expanding and releasing.
Becoming is not something you earn.
It is something you participate in.
What if the work you've been doing internally has already shifted your trajectory?
What if the patience you've practiced has already changed your relationships?
What if the boundaries you've learned have already shaped your future?
Let your shoulders drop a little more.
You do not need to rush your own unfolding.
Imagine a flower in early bloom.
It does not question whether it's flowering enough.
It simply responds to light.
As you are responding to experience,
To insight,
To discomfort,
To possibility.
Becoming is not a performance.
It is a process.
And you are inside it.
Take another slow breath.
Let this question settle into your body.
Where have I already changed?
Not where you still want to grow,
But where you have already shifted.
Let one example come forward,
Even a small one,
And honor it.
Growth often hides in the subtle places,
And subtle growth is still growth.
What if you're not behind?
What if you're not late?
What if you're not missing it?
What if you are precisely in the middle of your becoming?
And what if that is enough for today?
Let your body rest in that possibility.
Just breathing.
Just here.
When you're ready,
Come back to your body.
Back to your breath.
Back to the room around you.
If this meditation supported you,
I'd be so grateful if you left a review,
Or shared it with someone who might need this reminder.

What if you're already becoming?
And as you return to your day,
Remember as always,
You are loved.
You are whole.
You are enough.
