Welcome,
My name is Teresa,
And this is a gentle space to step out of the pressure to figure everything out.
You don't need to have answers right now.
You don't need a plan.
Just begin by arriving here.
If it feels comfortable,
You can allow your eyes to close or simply soften your gaze.
And just take a moment to notice your body.
Not to change anything,
Just to notice.
You might begin by noticing your jaw.
Is there any holding there?
Effort.
If there is,
Just see if it might soften,
Even 2%.
Not forcing anything.
Just offering an invitation.
Let your shoulders drop just a little.
Feel the weight of your body being supported by the surface beneath you.
And gently bring your attention to your breath.
Not controlling it,
Just noticing it.
The inhale.
And the exhale.
Allowing your body to soften just a little with each breath.
And now,
Just quietly within yourself.
Notice if there is something you feel like you need to figure out.
A decision.
Situation.
Next step.
Something that feels unresolved.
And just notice what that brings up in your body.
There can be so much pressure to know what to do.
To get it right.
To move forward with certainty.
And your system might be trying to protect you by searching for answers.
By staying in analysis.
But what if,
Just for this moment,
You didn't have to solve it?
What if you don't have to figure it all out right now?
Just notice what happens in your body when you hear that.
No need to believe it.
Just notice.
What if clarity doesn't come from pushing?
What if it comes from softening?
What if the next step doesn't come from thinking harder,
But from allowing a little more space?
I invite you to notice your breath again.
See if your exhale can be just a little longer than your inhale.
Not by great effort,
Just a soft lengthening.
And let your body feel what it's like to not be rushing toward an answer.
You don't need to decide anything here.
You don't need to fix anything either.
You are allowed to not know yet.
And there is a kind of safety that can begin to emerge when you step out of urgency.
Even just for a few moments.
Let yourself rest here,
Breathing,
Supported.
Not figuring anything out.
And just notice,
Is there even the smallest shift in your body?
Even a little more space,
A little less pressure.
You can come back to this anytime.
This space where you don't have to rush toward answers.
Taking one slow,
Steady breath.
And taking your time coming back to the room around you.
If this meditation supported you,
You're always welcome to share it with someone who might need this kind of space too.
You are allowed to take life one moment at a time.
Thank you for taking the time to practice with me,
And as you return to your day,
Remember as always,
You are loved.
You are whole.
You are enough.
