Welcome.
I'm Teresa and I'm so glad you're here.
Let's take a moment to let yourself arrive gently.
Without needing to change anything first.
I invite you to notice your breath.
The way it's already moving.
Without effort to lengthen it.
And noticing your body.
Being supported right here.
If it feels okay,
Allow your shoulders to soften slightly.
Your jaw.
Your face.
Your hands.
Your hips.
Not rushing the softening,
But meeting your nervous system where it's at.
Just inviting a little more space than before.
There can be a quiet habit of trying to fix yourself.
To improve things.
To adjust.
To become a better version of who you are right now.
And sometimes that effort is obvious.
But other times,
It's very subtle.
A sense that something about you needs to be different.
Before you can fully rest.
Or feel at ease.
Or be enough.
But what if you can stop trying to fix yourself?
Just for this moment.
Not forever.
Not as a belief you have to hold.
Just here,
In this moment,
With me.
Let that question land in your body.
What if you can stop trying to fix yourself just for this moment?
And notice what arises.
There may be relief.
There may be discomfort.
A part of you that says,
But I need to grow.
But I don't want to stay like this.
That part is welcome here.
You don't need to silence it.
But what if there's a difference between growing and fixing?
What if growth can happen without rejection or judgment?
Without turning against yourself in the process.
Let your breath soften here,
Especially on the exhale.
You might notice your body again.
Any areas that feel tense.
Or tight.
Or guarded.
And instead of changing them,
Just letting your awareness rest there.
What if nothing here is a problem to solve?
What if you are not a problem to solve?
What if these sensations,
These patterns.
.
.
These parts of you.
Have been trying to help.
In the only ways they know how.
Even if they feel inconvenient.
Even if they feel outdated.
Even if they don't fit your life anymore.
What if they are not mistakes,
But simply learned responses?
Can we let that possibility exist?
Without needing to agree with it.
You don't have to like everything you feel.
You don't have to stay the same.
But what if you don't have to push yourself away to become who you're becoming?
What if you can move forward without leaving yourself behind?
Notice your breath again.
The steadiness of it.
The way it continues without needing to be improved.
What if you are allowed to stay with yourself as you are and still grow?
Not because you forced it.
But because you stayed.
Because you listened.
Because you didn't abandon yourself in the process.
Let your body feel that,
Even just a little.
Here in this moment there is no fixing.
No urgency.
Just being here with yourself.
And maybe just for now,
That is enough.
Let's stay with this for a few slow,
Gentle breaths.
Take one more slow,
Steady breath.
And take your time coming back to the space around you.
If this meditation supported you,
You're always welcome to share it or leave a review so it can reach someone else who might need this kind of space.
And as you return to your day,
Remember as always,
You are loved.
You are whole.
You are enough.
