About the Winter Rest Series: This collection of meditations is designed to support the winter season—a time for deep rest, nervous system regulation, and quiet trust. Rather than pushing for clarity or momentum, these practices invite slowing down, honoring stillness, and allowing unseen growth to unfold naturally. Each track can be listened to on its own or as part of the full series, depending on what you need in the moment. A soothing winter sleep meditation to help your body rest deeply while healing and growth continue quietly beneath the surface. Designed for exhaustion, transition, and nervous system downregulation. If you fall asleep before the end, it’s working.

Hi love,

I'm Teresa.

This is a gentle sleep meditation for deep rest and quiet trust.

A place to soften into the dark and let your body sleep while the seeds continue to grow.

There's nothing you need to do.

When you're ready,

Let your eyes close if they aren't already.

And take a slow breath in,

Longer on the exhale,

As though your body is sighing itself towards sleep.

You don't need to listen carefully.

You don't need to follow every word.

Your only job is to rest.

Feel the places where your body meets the bed,

The back of your head,

Your shoulders,

Your hips,

Your legs.

Let the surface beneath you hold your weight completely.

If any part of you is still trying to stay alert,

You can let that soften now.

You're safe to drift.

Imagine yourself wrapped in darkness.

Not a heavy darkness,

But a warm,

Velvety night.

Like the earth resting under winter snow.

This darkness is kind.

It knows exactly what it's doing.

Here nothing needs your attention.

Nothing needs fixing.

Nothing needs deciding tonight.

Your body understands how to sleep.

Just as the soil understands how to hold seeds,

Your system knows how to restore itself.

As your breath continues to slow,

Imagine small seeds resting beneath the surface of the earth.

They are not rushing.

They are not questioning the timing.

They are simply becoming.

You don't need to check on them.

You don't need to imagine the outcome.

Growth happens best when it is left alone.

If thoughts drift through your mind,

Let them pass like clouds across a night sky.

You don't have to follow them anywhere.

Each exhale gently loosens you further.

Your jaw,

Your tongue,

Your shoulders,

Your belly.

Nothing is being asked of you in this season.

This is a time for deep restoration.

For letting the dark do its quiet unseen work.

The solstice reminds us that even in the longest night,

The light has already begun to turn back toward us.

You don't have to witness it for it to be true.

Your only task now is to sleep,

To trust,

And to let your body be carried.

If you fall asleep before this meditation ends,

That's exactly what it's for.

The seeds will keep growing.

The rest will keep working.

And you can drift now,

Deeper and deeper into sleep.

Rest well,

Love.

I'll be here when you return.
