Hi love,
I'm Teresa,
And welcome.
This meditation is part of my Permission to Expand series,
A gentle invitation to begin the new year from softness,
Truth,
And self-trust.
Today,
We're exploring a simple but profound shift,
Letting yourself want what you want.
Take your time,
There is no rush here.
Let's begin.
Find a comfortable position,
Maybe feeling the weight of your body supported,
Held,
And welcomed exactly as you are.
Let your breath fall into a slower rhythm,
Not forced,
Just softened.
Let your shoulders drop,
Let your jaw loosen,
Let your belly relax,
Even just a little.
And now,
Notice this.
There is a quiet place inside you that knows what you want.
It has always known.
Even when you had to silence it.
Even when the world taught you to ignore it.
Even when choosing yourself felt dangerous.
Today,
We're going to visit that place gently.
Bring your awareness into the center of your chest,
The tender,
Warm place behind your sternum.
Let your breath gather there.
And ask softly inside yourself,
What do I truly want?
Not what you should want.
Not what's practical.
Not what's easiest for others.
Not what keeps the peace.
But what your soul reaches for with that quiet,
Unmistakable pull.
You don't have to name it out loud.
You don't have to justify it.
You don't have to earn it.
Just allow it.
Let the wanting rise like a warm current in your body.
Feel how your chest expands when you give it space.
Feel how your shoulders soften.
Feel how your breath deepens.
Wanting is not greed.
It is not too much.
It is not self-indulgent.
Wanting is a sign of aliveness.
It is the first spark of expansion.
And so quietly,
In your own timing,
Whisper inside,
I let myself want it.
Let the words move into your body.
Let them soften the tightness in your ribs.
Let them give you back the space you once surrendered.
Again,
Gently,
I let myself want it.
Feel how the body responds,
Not with fear,
But with recognition.
You are not asking for too much.
You are allowing yourself to be fully here.
And that alone changes everything.
Stay here for a breath or two.
Letting desire be safe.
Letting longing be allowed.
Letting yourself be spacious inside your own life.
And when you're ready,
Bring one hand to your heart.
Feel your warmth.
Your courage.
Your honesty.
And whisper one last time,
I let myself want it.
This is where expansion begins.
Thank you for being here with me.

If this practice felt supportive,
I'd love to welcome you into the next track.
The soft yes.
Take good care,
Love.
And know as always,
You are loved.
You are whole.
You are enough.
