I Am Medicine

In every way you choose to remember yourself as a healer and balm within your world, you are walking, talking, living medicine. This practice is a remembrance of what you bring as a source of alignment to others, through your presence, radiance and consciousness. It is simple but profound.

I am medicine. As I mindfully connect to inhaling with clarity and exhaling with gratitude, I am medicine. Being in my body, In this time and space, In this here and now, I am medicine. As I open myself to all the ways that earth beneath me shares of its wisdom, Its healing, Its stability and its sustenance, I am medicine. As I give voice to the impulse that is moving and expressing through me, I am medicine. As I open my heart to you and invite you to open your heart to me, I am medicine. As I create a space for both you and I to be who we are in non-judgment, In full acceptance, In embrace, I am medicine. As I sit quietly and hold your hand through your pain, Your discomfort, And all the ways that you feel contracted and confined, I am medicine. As I open the portal of communication between my soul and your soul, I am medicine. As I dance with you in playful abandon, Letting my spirit be free with yours, I am medicine. As I stand and witness you with an open mind in this moment and all the other moments, I am medicine. As I listen with an encouraging air to your human animal expressing its needs, Wants, And desires, I am medicine. As I share a space with you in complete silence, Allowing the both of us to just be, I am medicine. As we raise our voices in song, Not caring if we sing off key, I am medicine. As I acknowledge with reverence the pulse, The heartbeat, And the rhythm of my blood, I am medicine. As I stumble and fall and get back up again for the tenth time in a row, I am medicine. As I honor you and myself in both our living and our dying, I am medicine. As I love, As I love, As I love, I am medicine. As I appreciate and appreciate and appreciate, I am medicine. As I forgive, As I forgive, As I forgive, I am medicine. In every moment, I remember that I am divine and remind you that you're divine. I am medicine.
