
02. Connect To Your Heart
Creating heart and brain coherence is crucial to find the ultimate balance between body and mind. When there is harmony between our systems, we function at our best. The heart is not just a physical organ but a spiritual center also. When it is synced with the brain, we establish long-lasting mental and emotional health.

In the first meditation,
I would like to help you to connect deeply to your own self and to your heart.
Find a comfortable seated position,
Either cross-legged or kneeling,
Or you could also sit in a chair if sitting on the floor is not comfortable.
Find a position where you can have the spine long and erect.
Begin to elongate the spine,
Lift the back of the neck,
Lift the crown.
Either keep the hands on your lap or on your thighs,
And close the eyes.
Begin to observe your breath.
Feel your breath.
Slow steady inhale,
Slow exhale.
And then move your attention to the heart center.
Just think about your heart.
When was the last time you had a conversation with it?
It is our most powerful organ.
It is the organ that is formed first during the development of the body.
Only three weeks after conception,
The heart is formed and soon after starts beating.
And ever since then,
It's continuously beating until the end of our life.
Continuously going without stopping,
Without having a break or a vacation.
How often do you think about this magic?
How often do you connect to the heart and just say thank you,
Thank you for being there for me,
Guiding me?
Just take a moment to connect with the heart and mentally just breathe through the center of the chest.
On the inhale,
Breathing into the heart,
Feel the heart center expanding and being nourished.
On the exhale,
Let the air coming out through the center of the chest release any kind of negative emotion that have been bothering you.
On the inhale,
Again just draw in the air through the center of the chest,
Feel the heart is being nourished.
And show your love on your heart for being there,
Supporting you and taking care of the entire circulation,
Making life possible.
The latest research shows that the heart has its own nervous system.
It has about 40,
000 brain cells and the heart is directly connected to the brain.
It is continuously sending signal upwards.
They are in constant communication.
The signal goes up into the amygdala,
The emotional centers and from there to the thalamus and those signals later go down into the body affecting our entire well-being,
Governing every single system.
Of course the brain sends signals to the heart as well,
But the traffic is predominantly going from the heart to the brain rather than the other way around.
And as the heart beats,
You can create an energy field around you.
It is producing electricity,
A huge bio electromagnetic field around the body,
The aura,
Which can be measured up to three feet.
The heart creates about 100 times more of electricity than the brain.
And the electromagnetic field or the magnetic field that the heart creates is 5,
000 times bigger than the brain.
So it is really our powerhouse,
The center of our emotions.
And the emotions that are related to the heart is love,
Compassion,
Caring,
Gratitude,
Honor,
Dignity,
Courage,
Doing the right thing,
Selfless service.
Just keep meditating on the heart.
Slow inhale through the center of the chest,
Slow exhale.
Allow the heart to beat with a steady rhythm.
Allow it to slow down.
And let it be regulated.
The more regular the heartbeat is,
The more coherent the entire system becomes.
Because the heart sends signals to all the organs.
So once you become coherent,
Then the rhythm of the heart will affect the rhythm of the breath,
The rhythm of the digestion,
The hormonal secretion and also the brainwaves.
The purpose of meditation is to create that harmony between the systems.
So everything just works better without wasting energy.
So you become more efficient.
Just breathe nice and slow in through the heart,
Out through the heart.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
And if you get entangled in some thoughts,
Don't worry.
Just gently bring your mind,
Your awareness back to the breath.
Feel the air coming in through the heart center and it's going out through the heart center.
And begin to meditate on gratefulness and gratitude.
You send your love towards your heart for being there,
Beating nonstop from the time that you were conceived almost,
Continuously working hard,
Never asking for anything in return.
Now focus on the feeling of gratitude and love.
Think about someone who you love the most.
Maybe a parent,
Spouse,
Best friend or your child.
Anyone you have really strong emotion towards.
Just feel that emotion.
Feel that love and feel the gratitude that you have towards them and for being able to love them and receiving their love in return,
Their care and just appreciate them.
Send them your love.
And then think about one more thing that you are grateful for,
Like having a house which is your home or having a job that you love or you're having a beautiful family or anything small like just having the right meal every single morning or wearing your favorite shoes.
Find something that you are grateful for and allow the feeling of gratitude to really penetrate into every single body cell.
And to go even further to expand into your energy field,
The aura.
Feel these elevated emotions really penetrating into every single corner of your existence.
Every single pocket slowly filling you up.
And sometimes it is difficult to become or be positive.
Sometimes when we have a lot of stress,
A lot of sadness in our life or anger or any other kind of so-called negative emotion,
Then just allow those emotions to be,
Observe them,
Acknowledge them,
Consciously observe and then think about how would you rather feel?
What would be the emotion you would like to feel instead?
Then begin to observe that emotion.
So if you feel angry,
How about feeling calm or if you feel stressed,
Feel at ease or if you experience scarcity,
How about feeling abundant?
And just meditate on those emotions you want to create.
We have the power to create our reality.
We just were made to believe that we are powerless.
We kind of let go the control.
It is time to take the control back.
We can control our reality simply by the way we think.
Our thoughts have power.
And we can attract anything we want.
We don't have to wait to be healed to feel healthy.
We don't have to wait to be successful to feel empowered.
We don't have to become wealthy to feel abundant.
We can create those emotions simply by the power of the mind.
And our heart doesn't know the difference whether you are actually experiencing those feelings because something happened in your external environment or those feelings are being generated by thought alone.
This is the true power of creation.
There's no more cause and effect but causing an effect.
You go into the future and you create it rather than just sitting around and waiting.
We are creator of our reality.
And we need to remind ourselves we have the power.
We have the power to influence our thoughts and make the right choices,
Change our character,
Improve our experiences and elevate our emotions.
Just meditate on those elevated emotions.
Just pick one,
Something that you really want to focus on right now.
Feel that emotion,
Allow it to expand.
And feel that emotion becoming stronger and stronger.
Reaching every single corner of the body and even going beyond.
Scientific research showed that people who meditate on a regular basis,
They begin to alter the state of consciousness of their neighbors.
Their brainwaves begin to change.
Their attitude becomes improved.
They start feeling better.
Just by the neighbor who you never met could influence you or you could influence your neighbor.
Our body releases 20 photons per second on a regular basis.
Once you start meditating,
It goes up to 100,
000 photons per second,
Which is five times as much as normal,
So to say.
We can influence 5,
000 people simply just by changing the way we feel.
We create a change inside and that will create change in the field around us.
That's why it is important for everyone to begin to meditate,
To take charge of their thoughts and emotions and through that we can bring about change in the world.
The world is simply just a reflection of our internal world.
Are we balanced and harmonized inside or are we battling with our inner demons?
If you are battling,
That's what we project.
If you want all the disharmony and wars to end,
We need to fix ourselves first and we can send out that beauty,
That love,
That gratitude,
That caring and compassion into the world.
The more and more of us start doing that,
A change will be inevitable.
So send your love,
All of your loved ones,
All of your friends,
Your entire community,
People you work with,
Social club you're part of,
Anyone you know,
Anyone you see on a regular basis and let's expand that and send your love and gratitude to the entire nation,
Whichever country you live in,
Creating heart coherence.
And then from there the next step is to just envelop the entire planet with your love and compassion,
Visualizing all hearts to be connected.
Nobody is separate.
We are light beings and allow the light to shine,
To vibrate,
To heal the planet,
Heal humanity and ourselves.
We are all connected.
If you would like to continue with your meditation,
You feel you have entered a really pleasant state and you are not quite ready to come out of it,
That's fine,
Just remain seated and meditate longer,
As long as you want,
As long as it feels right for you.
And if you feel this was sufficient for today,
Then slowly take a deep breath,
Slowly exhale,
Drawing the attention back to the body.
Whenever you're ready,
Just open the eyes.
