Good morning.
This is Tanya Murphy and welcome to this morning meditation,
Celebrating and basking in this beautiful day.
Wherever you are,
Just settle yourself,
Resting your mind,
Resting your body,
Preparing for a wonderful day.
We will meditate this morning on Psalm 24,
The beauty,
The promise,
The hope,
In knowing always that every day the Lord is in control.
So gather yourself,
Quiet your mind,
Still your mind,
And take a few deep cleansing breaths.
We're in no hurry,
No rush.
Settling yourself into this moment,
Being grateful for this moment,
Joyful in this moment,
The beginning of a new day,
A new opportunity,
A new perspective,
Being grateful in the new.
Focusing our mind on this moment in the presence of our Lord,
Who is always present,
Even when we're not.
His presence is always available when we yield to him.
Just settling,
Resting in this moment.
The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof,
The sea and those that dwell therein.
For he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the floods.
Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord and who shall stand at his holy gates?
He that has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to idols or sworn deceitfully,
He shall receive a blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
This is the generation that seeks him,
That seeks thy face,
O Jacob.
Lift up your heads,
O ye gates,
And be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors,
That the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle.
He is the King of glory.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle.
He is the King of glory.
Can we just rest in the presence of the King of glory that everything belongs to?
He created it all and all of it is his.
So let's just rest in the presence of an all-knowing,
All-seeing,
All-understanding,
All-comforting God.
Lifting up our heads,
O ye gates,
And be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors,
That the King of glory shall come in.
Shall come in.
Just resting in his presence.
So let's just rest in the presence of the King of glory.
Today we are forever so grateful,
Forever so thankful.
We are joyful at the opportunity to have another day.
The King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle.
He is the King of glory.
He is the King of glory.
Today as you navigate through this day,
Remember that you navigate with the King of glory and that everything belongs to him.
And you can take comfort and peace in knowing that you belong to him as well.
Have a wonderful day and be well.
