We begin the journey with several deep cleansing breaths. Allow the words of the Lotus Jewel mantra to help center and begin the clearing practice. Using the images of a lotus flower, we will then flood the mind and body with the chakra colours in a beautiful guided visualization. Music: "That Zen Moment " Kevin MacLeod

Breathing in and breathing out.

And as you breathe,

You find the body relaxing more deeply.

There's this softening in the chest and upper back.

The front and back of your ribcage.

The softening washes over the abdomen and your lower back.

It floods the area of the hips and the glutes.

The front and back of your thighs.

The front and back of your knees.

The calves,

The shins,

The ankles,

The feet,

And your toes.

Perhaps you'll set the intention to allow the body to feel even more relaxed each time you exhale.

Inviting a feeling of calm and peace and breath in this present moment.

Invite yourself to memorize this feeling,

These sensations,

And know this feeling in the body now can be recreated any time you wish to recreate it.

Continue to allow the body and mind to relax.

As you do,

We'll add in the mantra of the jewel.

This ancient Buddhist practice,

The chant OM MANI PADME HUM.

It is said that this chant has the power to transform the body and the mind.

Representing the original sound of the universe.

Inviting the unfolding of compassion and loving kindness.

You may wish to join in as we do this chant,

Or perhaps you'll just listen.

OM MANI PADME HUM.

As you rest,

Notice where this mantra is reverberating for you.

Is there a place in the body where it still feels like it's resonating or reverberating?

Can you still feel its vibration?

When we consider the lotus flower,

An image might form in your mind.

Of a pond or a waterway.

Somewhere still enough where a lotus flower could potentially bloom.

In your mind's eye,

See,

Sense,

Feel,

Or imagine that you're standing in front of a pond.

Again,

If another waterway comes to mind,

That's fine.

The pond can be any size,

It might be large or quite small.

Perhaps you'll see yourself walking over to the pond.

You might bend over and notice your reflection in the surface of the water.

Maybe you'll come closer to it and dip your toes or your fingers in the cool water.

As you look onto this pond,

You can see easily a lotus flower.

Or a group of flowers somewhere nearby.

As you enjoy this image,

You watch now as the flower begins to shift to the color red.

Perhaps you notice a tingling sensation at the base of your spine.

As you allow this red lotus flower to nurture you.

Creating a deep sense of being grounded.

A sense of alignment within.

And you breathe in.

As you look back toward the flower,

You notice it begins to shift color once again.

Making way for an orange lotus flower.

And perhaps you feel a surge of energy moving up your spine.

As this orange beautiful flower begins to nurture you.

Offering a sense of alignment.

Breathing in.

And breathing out.

As you look around this beautiful area,

The pond that you're standing close to,

You might notice or hear birds fluttering by.

The sound of their chirping.

Perhaps there are other insects or bugs around.

Maybe even a butterfly.

What other images are in this scene for you?

As you enjoy the scenery of this pond,

Your awareness is drawn back towards the lotus flower.

And you watch the flower turn to a color yellow.

And again,

You sense a tingling moving up the spine.

As you find this beautiful yellow lotus flower beginning to nurture you.

Offering a sense of alignment.

Breathing in.

And breathing out.

The air around you here is the perfect temperature against the skin.

And perhaps you feel the warmth of the sun shining on your head or on your back.

The pond so still it reflects everything around it like a beautiful mirror.

And your eyes are now drawn to the green area of the lotus flower,

The petal along the bottom,

That which floats on the water's surface.

It's as if this green color is calling to you.

And you feel this tingling moving up the spine,

Coming into the front and back of your heart space.

And this and any other shade of green you see begins to nurture you.

Helping you to feel a deep sense of not only alignment,

But of gratitude.

As you notice all of the items in this image in your mind.

The flora,

The fauna that is green.

Breathing in.

And breathing out.

You look around the pond only to find a blue lotus flower.

And the sense of energy begins to move up the spine into the area of your neck and your throat.

This blue lotus flower so beautiful.

And it nurtures you.

As if there were a deep sense of alignment.

And bringing a sense of creativity,

Of self-expression to your experience.

And to enjoy admiring this beautiful blue lotus flower.

That the tradition,

A medicine for thousands of years,

The blue lotus flower was used as a natural anxiety reliever.

And it's definitely soothing you with that energy now.

As you look toward the pond,

You see,

Sense,

Feel,

Or imagine a purple lotus flower.

And you feel this tingling energy moving up towards the body.

You feel the energy moving higher toward your forehead.

And feeling this deep sense of alignment,

Of clarity toward your future.

And the vision that you would like to create in this world.

This sense of balance within your body.

In yourself.

This rare purple lotus flower bringing self-enlightenment.

And to breathe in.

And out.

Considering the remarkable resilience of these lotus flowers.

Not only are they so very attractive and beautiful,

But such an element of tranquility and of peace.

And in time,

Your eyes are drawn toward the most beautiful white lotus flower that you have ever seen.

So many petals.

Unfolding so beautifully.

It's almost as if there were a double flower as it is reflected by the mirror-like surface of the pond.

And energy flows all the way up to the crown of your head.

And you feel this sense of realignment with divine energy surrounding you.

And you breathe in.

And out.

Enjoying this scene.

As you now connect with every one of the lotus flowers you have seen here today.

The red.

The orange.

The yellow.

The green of the plants surrounding you.

And the blue,

The purple,

Indigo color of the water.

And the beautiful white lotus flower.

Let's chant OM MANI PADME HUM.

We're going to do it in a specific manner.

We'll chant it aloud.

Then silently.

We'll whisper.

And then chant it aloud once again.

You might join in.

Or perhaps you'll just listen.

You slowly start to draw the awareness back.

Sensing the clothing in contact with your skin.

The different textures against the body.

The air circulating around you.

And when you feel ready,

You return.

Open your eyes.

Opening the eyes.

And be back.
