Welcome to today's meditation,
A beautiful soul.
What does your soul look like?
Let's start our meditation today by finding a comfortable spot to relax in.
Then gently close your eyes.
Let's take a deep breath in,
Fully filling your lungs.
Then slowly release that breath,
Cleansing your body and preparing to listen to my words.
Please continue your slow cleansing breaths as you contemplate today's thought.
Have you ever thought one day when you die,
Your physical body is left behind,
But your soul goes on forever?
As we age,
Our physical body shows signs of wear and tear,
Wrinkles,
Scars,
Fading beauty,
But our souls are ageless.
Our spirit is uninhibited by barriers or time.
Just think for a moment,
If all you had to put forward to put out in the world to represent you was your soul,
Your heart,
Your feelings,
Your thoughts,
What would that look like?
How would you be represented?
If you didn't have your youth,
Good looks,
Money,
Or fashionable clothes to represent you,
How would you look?
Deep question,
I know.
Something to think about though.
When this life ends,
This world that lasts for such a short time,
But then we,
Our souls,
Live on for eternity,
How do you want your soul to be defined?
Do you need to quickly start fine tuning your soul,
Be a better person?
Eternity is not going to care if you have the most beautiful face,
Largest muscles,
Highest IQ,
And are earning millions in your career.
No,
Eternity will only see your soul,
The real you,
The spirit within that makes you,
You.
So what do you need to change?
Stop complaining,
Stop your negativity,
Stop being boastful or bragging,
Or perhaps you just need to get in tune with your spirit,
Your soul.
And fine tune your great qualities.
Continue to be loving,
Giving,
Positive,
Thoughtful,
Caring,
All the good qualities that shape our souls,
Define our spirit,
Make us who we really are.
All while you let go of the negative qualities or qualities you believe to be so important,
But really aren't.
We all have to remember that our physical body,
The shell that protects and encompasses our very being,
Our soul,
Is only temporary.
It may be beautiful or even enable you to be rich and get everything you want.
But again,
Beauty,
Fame,
And riches are temporary.
Your soul lives on for eternity.
So as we open our eyes and continue to absorb this new thought,
Let's remember to nurture,
Care for,
And give love to our soul so it continues to make a good impression and a difference for eternity.
