Hi there,
My name is Sylvie and I'm excited today to be guiding you through this short meditation visualization practice.
This meditation is designed to protect your energy and to provide space to be able to set an intention.
We'll start off by removing as many distractions as possible and slowly find yourself in a seated position either on a chair or a cushion.
Alternatively,
You can lie on your back as well,
Ideally bending your knees,
Keeping your feet grounded.
Allow your face to soften,
Eyelids to go heavy,
And your breath begins to deepen.
Pay attention to where you feel your breath in your body and effortlessly lengthen your inhale and your exhale,
Releasing as much tension as you possibly can,
Allowing your body to stay strong but soft.
Visualize a light originating from the earth,
Beginning to enter your feet.
Watch this breath fill up your feet and your calves,
And your calves,
Your thighs,
Your sit bones,
Hips,
And low stomach.
At the same time,
Visualize another stream of light coming from the sky,
Entering the crown of your head.
Watch it fill up your skull,
Your face,
All around your ears,
Your neck,
Upper shoulders,
Arms,
And all four sides of your chest.
Both of these channels meet at your core as a ball,
A loop,
Or a knot of energy.
On your inhale,
This energy at your core begins to break and your core begins to brighten,
Similar to blowing air on embers in a fire.
On your exhale,
This energy dims slightly.
Continue this cycle of brightening and dimming these two directions of energy following your own breath.
Begin to visualize a color.
On your next exhale,
You can imagine a color that you can imagine.
I want you to expand that color all around your body.
It can be an arm distance away from your center.
It can be just the outline of your frame.
As you inhale,
You brighten up your core.
And on your exhale,
You use your breath to breathe into the air.
Fill this bubble with a happy place,
A place that brings you peace,
That brings you calm and ease.
It can be a place or it can be a memory or an activity that brings you a lot of joy.
Surround yourself with this feeling.
As you settle into this space that you've created for yourself with this energy that you've invited into your space,
I want you to settle in and think of an intention you would like to set.
Be it an intention for your day,
For your month,
For your life,
Or for the next few minutes.
Something simple that you need and crave for in this moment.
On your inhale,
You think,
I am.
And on your exhale,
You repeat your intention.
Inhale,
I am.
And exhale,
Your attention.
When your mind wanders,
As it loves to do,
Bring it back to your to your happy place and bring it back to your bubble.
As our meditation time is coming to enclose,
I invite you to stay if this is feeling really wonderful for you at this moment.
But for those of us that have to go,
I invite you to bring small movements to your fingers and your toes.
Maybe a little sway side to side and pressing your hands together at heart center.
Thank you for embarking on this powerful practice of anchoring in on an intention at the center of your bubble that you've created for yourself.
