Hello,

I'm Sydney and welcome to Day 9,

Trusting the Process.

We're nearing the end of the 10-part series,

Unlock Your Creative Potential.

So you've started or even finished your masterpiece,

Your creative work of art.

And you're not sure that you have it within you to keep going,

To find that new idea to finish it or to find your idea to complete your sophomore album as they say.

You have to find a way to keep going.

Don't worry,

Today we'll practice some ways to trust the process,

Knowing that there is no end to the wonderful ideas that you can create.

We'll tap into the abundance of the universe as a source of inspiration and confirmation that a plethora of ideas are always around us.

So let's get comfortable sitting down,

Standing up,

Laying down,

Whatever feels right for you.

And we'll take three belly deep breaths in to launch into our meditative space.

Here we go.

Breathe in and out.

Breathe in,

Out.

Deep breath in and out.

And as always,

We'll go even deeper with the body scan,

Starting with our toes.

Place your attention on your toes,

Your feet and your ankles.

Feel the energy warm up your calves and your shins.

And now your knees.

Now feel that wonderful energy swirling around your thighs,

The fronts,

The backs,

The sides of your thighs.

Feel that energy up to your bottom and your pelvis.

Next feel that energy move all the way up your torso,

The front,

The sides and the back,

Up to your shoulders.

Spend some time with the energy at your shoulders.

And move it down your arms to your elbows.

Feel the creative energy moving from your elbows to your wrists.

Feel those creative juices in your hands and fingers.

Now returning to the neck.

Let's feel the energy in the neck again.

And breathe it into your head,

All around your head.

Excellent.

Now right where you are,

Let's tap into the abundance of creativity.

Think about how many stars are in the universe,

How many planets.

Just on this planet,

Think about how many beings there are.

You can't even count the number of blades of grass.

How many pebbles,

How much soil?

Just in you alone,

How many cells do you have?

How many molecules make up those cells?

Just in our time here today,

How many breaths have you taken?

How many thoughts have you had in a lifetime?

See you yourself are made up of abundance,

Of the infinite stuff of life.

You regenerate hair,

Nails,

Skin.

You regenerate cells all the time.

And unless you're sleeping or meditating,

The thoughts don't stop.

So why should your ideas stop?

Just tap into that universal abundance whenever you're feeling low.

Give yourself a minute to recharge and then tap in.

But never fear,

The ideas will keep coming,

They will keep flowing to you.

Now for our exercise,

We're going to have a little fun.

Again,

Feel free to stay as you are or to grab a pen and paper.

In the space of 30 seconds,

Come up with as many nicknames for yourself as you can.

These nicknames can have to do with a superpower or your creativity.

You could be Wonder Woman or Perfect Painter.

See,

I've just given you two.

Don't think about it too hard,

Just jot down the first things that come to mind.

You'll get settled in and I'll count you down.

That wasn't bad,

Was it?

You can use these timed list games whenever you want to kind of get the ideas flowing.

But for now,

We're going to close out the meditation space with our big breath.

Let's breathe in and out.

And as usual,

We'll end with some affirmations.

I am bold,

Brave,

And kind.

Happy,

Healthy,

And wealthy.

Beautiful and brilliant.

And I am loved.

Thank you for joining me here today.

Next is the last lesson,

Sharing your creative work.

Until then,

I'm Sydney reminding you to stay creative.
