Hello,

This is Sydney welcoming you to Transition into the Creative.

It's the fourth of a ten-part series called Unlock Your Full Creative Potential.

In the first few sessions,

You embraced your creative dreams and cleared away old thought patterns that create blocks.

As we prepare for the second half of this course,

You will set the stage for actually doing and making creative works.

In today's session,

You will graduate from understanding yourself as a creative being to actually being creative.

As always,

Let's get started with three deep breaths straight into the belly.

Let's breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and out.

Last breath in and out.

We're going to do a body scan now to get deeper into the meditative state.

This time,

Let's start with the feet.

Imagine pulling creative breath right into your toes and your feet.

Let's bring that energy up through your ankles into your calves.

Breathe into your shins.

Breathe the creative energy into your knees.

Now let's breathe that energy into your thighs.

Make sure to bring the energy to the back of your thighs.

Move the energy around to your bottom.

Bring the energy up your back to your shoulder blades.

Move it around your sides and up your belly.

Up your chest,

Your breasts,

And the top of your back.

Feel the energy flowing in your shoulders and down your arms.

Breathe into your elbows and your forearms.

Feel that creative energy flowing around your hands and fingers.

Now breathe into your neck and your face and ears.

The creativity is inching up the back of your head.

Now breathe that creative energy right into the top of your head,

Your crown.

Very good.

Today's meditation is a transition meditation.

We're going to give gratitude for the past,

Present,

And future as it pertains to your work.

So first,

We'll start with the past and all the great ideas you've had.

Think of some of the ideas you've had,

Whether or not you executed them.

Give gratitude for those ideas.

And let's give gratitude to any action of creativity you've already taken.

Have you completed a work?

Have you started a work?

Have you thought about a work?

If you can't think of anything that you've done,

Just give yourself credit for being here today.

You got up and you turned on this meditation.

Next,

Let's be thankful for the lessons that we've learned,

The lessons that have brought us to today.

Now,

Let's move into the present and be thankful that we're here together right now.

It's time for a little gratitude for what you're working on now and the fact that you've gotten this far.

Even if it's only thinking about something,

You've gotten that far.

It's a new thought.

It's a new work or it's a work in progress.

There was a start,

But you're here now.

So a little gratitude for this stage and phase.

Now let's appreciate the abundance in our lives,

The abundance of ideas,

Of time,

Of love,

The abundance of breaths that we take each and every day.

We'll turn our thoughts to the future and being grateful for the ideas that will continue to flow to us.

As we work and we grow,

We'll continue to gain knowledge and experience.

Let's be thankful and honor that growth and knowledge of the future.

Can you see the end result of your creative work?

Imagine being finished and feeling oh so grateful for getting it done.

Let's take a moment to give gratitude for the work that we complete in the future.

For today's exercise,

You can pause now and get a pen and paper or you can just stay as you are.

You're going to write a letter to your younger self,

Your older successful creative self,

Will write this letter to your younger fearful self about why your younger self should be excited about the future,

Which is your present.

I'll give it a minute and gently bring you back when the minute is over.

Join us!

Very nice.

It's time to close out the meditation with one big,

Gigantic slow breath in and out.

Ready?

In.

Out.

Ready for the affirmation to close out today's session?

You can repeat after me out loud or quietly to yourself.

I am bold,

Brave,

And kind.

Happy,

Healthy,

And wealthy.

Beautiful and brilliant.

And I am loved.

I'm Sydney and thank you so much for joining me for transition into creativity.

Next time,

We'll connect to the infinite.

Until then,

Keep creating.
