Welcome to this evening EFT tapping reflection session.
So before the day closes,
We're just going to give it a little bit of your time and attention,
Not to analyse it or judge it,
But to really honour the day with three simple rounds of tapping.
We're going to decompress,
Reflect on the day and really close it with kindness and compassion.
Alright,
So let's begin then with a nice grounding breath in through the nose.
Nice expansive breath.
And exhaling through the mouth.
And really letting go on that exhale.
Letting the shoulders drop.
Okay,
So what we're going to do for the first round is just kind of arrive here and decompress a little bit.
So tapping on the side of the hand,
Repeat after me either in your mind or out loud.
Even though I'm still in the energy of the day.
I'm choosing to slow down now.
Even though my mind is still a little busy.
Still processing,
Running through things.
I'm giving myself permission to soften.
Even though I don't yet feel fully at rest.
Or relaxed.
I'm here I showed up for this.
And I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
Okay,
So as we move through the points,
Remember to breathe,
Tapping softly on the eyebrow points.
Today has been a lot.
Side of the eye.
A lot of doing.
A lot of thinking.
Maybe a lot of feeling.
Under the eye,
My nervous system has been working really hard.
It's been on,
Switched on for hours.
Under the nose and maybe I haven't even noticed how much I've been carrying.
Chin points.
All the conversations.
The decisions.
The moments went well.
And the ones that didn't.
I don't need to fix any of that right now.
We're just being curious.
Under the arm.
I'm going to let my body begin to arrive here.
Just starting to become really present in this moment,
In this breath,
In this tap at the end of the day Top of the head.
The day is done and I can put it down now.
Just for a moment.
I can let everything be still.
So you can take a breath here as we tap into that stillness,
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
Letting go of the day.
Letting go of the stress and the tension and the worries.
Don't let your shoulders drop.
Let your jaw and clench.
Doing really well.
OK,
So we're going to move now to round two.
We're going to really compassionately reflect on your day.
So you don't need to say anything out loud here.
Just keep tapping and listening to my voice.
Let the words really land where they need to land.
You might like to close your eyes for this round or if that doesn't feel quite right,
Just soften your gaze or relax your eyelids.
So tapping softly on the eyebrow point,
Just listening to my words.
No need to speak.
Because I want to invite you into a really honest little reflection now.
But before we begin,
I just want to make it really clear this isn't like an audit.
All right,
We're not looking for self-criticism or picking yourself apart.
We're not here to really build a case against yourself.
We're just thinking about the day.
And we're here to do something that's actually much rarer and much kinder.
And that's to look at our day with a really open and compassionate eyes and heart.
Like our friendly best self who is genuinely interested.
And cares.
Your friendly best self.
Side of the eye.
So let me ask you now,
How did today actually feel?
Not how it looked from the outside,
Not whether you ticked everything off of your to-do list.
But underneath all that.
.
.
How are you?
Maybe you felt rushed.
Today.
Maybe you felt calm.
Maybe you felt really connected with people.
Or a little distant.
Did something really unexpected happen that kind of threw you off today?
Just let the honest answer come,
Reminding yourself there's no right or wrong answers.
Just noticing.
Moving to under the eye.
So think about a moment today where you kind of felt most like yourself.
So maybe it was a conversation that felt really real and raw and honest.
Maybe it was a really quiet moment that you carved out for yourself.
Could be something that you created or finished.
A laugh that surprised you.
Something kind that someone did for you or that you did for them.
Doesn't have to be a big moment we're just looking for a small moment Ale ook lemma.
Just looking for a little glimmer in your day where you felt most like you.
Like your best friendliest version of yourself.
Under the nose.
And now I'd like to ask whether there's been any moments today where you felt out of alignment.
So we're not gonna dwell on these,
We're just gonna notice them.
And by that,
I mean maybe you said something that you wish you hadn't said.
Maybe you were really hard on yourself,
More than you deserved.
Maybe you rushed past someone who needed a bit of your time or attention.
Or maybe you said yes to something when your whole body was saying,
No,
Don't do that.
We all have those moments where we feel out of alignments.
We do things out of alignment,
Every single one of us.
And that's what being human is all about.
So the question here isn't whether they happened,
It's what we do with them now.
Moving to the chin points.
And here's what I know about those hard moments.
Those misaligned ones,
They almost always carry some kind of lesson.
They're not a punishment.
They're not evidence that you're failing.
A lesson.
So something your day is kind of trying to hand to you gently if you're willing to receive it.
Maybe today taught you something about a boundary that you needed.
Or a conversation you've been avoiding.
Or just that you need a little bit more rest,
More space.
More kindness towards yourself.
So what is today trying to tell you?
What is the lesson from today?
So take a moment here,
Just tapping and breathing.
Let that question really sit.
What is today trying to tell you?
Thinking about lessons.
Moving now to the collarbone.
And as we tap here just thinking about how you showed up for your values today.
And I don't mean like perfectly showing up.
I mean,
Honestly showing up.
So let's first think about what those values might be.
What matters most to you?
Maybe that's being a really good friend.
Having integrity.
Being a kind person.
Allowing time and space for creativity.
Fairness.
Just think about what your values are for a moment.
And were there moments today,
Even small ones,
Where you really lived those values?
Where you made conscious or subconscious choices in line with who you really want to be.
With those values that are important for you.
Because.
.
.
I reckon there were some I reckon there were some of those moments.
You know,
Even on the really hard days,
Most of us show up for values more than we give ourselves credit for.
So really let yourself acknowledge that.
And you're allowed to really feel proud of yourself for being in alignment with your values,
Even if it was just something really small,
A thought you had.
I wish that was fairer.
I choose to text that person today to reach out.
OK,
Moving to under the arm.
Now,
What we're going to do now is we're going to keep all those lovely lessons and we're going to release all the other stuff that we don't need to keep.
OK,
We're going to release the self-criticism.
You know,
We don't need it.
It doesn't make us any better.
It just makes us feel worse about ourselves.
Going to get rid of all the rumination,
All the replaying.
All the wishing things have been different.
We're going to just set that down.
All this may well have served its purpose today in some way or tried to.
But it doesn't belong here now.
And we don't want to carry it with us until tomorrow.
It's not something that belongs in tomorrow.
So as we tap here,
Can be useful to Just kind of imagine that you're holding today in your hands.
If it helps to actually stop tapping under your arm for the moment,
You can just cup your hands in front of you if you like,
Because it can make it a bit easier to imagine.
Just imagine everything is in there from today.
All of today held in your hands.
All of it.
So the good stuff,
The hard stuff,
The complicated stuff.
And it can also be helpful to imagine each little memory or snippet or thought through your day as little bubbles.
So little thought bubbles,
Little feeling bubbles,
Little memory bubbles,
All in your hands,
All separated in these little bubbles.
But whatever and however you choose to imagine this is just perfect.
You might prefer some kind of filing system in your mind.
Whatever is best for you works.
But what we're going to do is we're going to keep all the gold.
OK,
We're going to keep those lessons.
We're going to keep those moments of connection,
All the small little wins,
All the growth.
So just imagine now kind of filtering things out and just separating the gold.
We're just having a good little sort out of the day,
Making sure all the gold is in one place.
It's nicely organised and sorted out.
OK,
And what we're going to do with everything else is we're going to let it go.
So that's kind of like releasing a breath that you've been holding on all day.
But before we do that,
We're going to let all of those gold bubbles or whatever you've chosen to drift into your mind.
So they rise up.
They're drifting into your mind.
They're drifting into your body.
They're drifting into your heart and your soul.
So imagine all those gold bubbles just permeating your energy.
And melting into you,
Becoming part of you.
And these are those lessons,
Those moments of gratitude,
The small wins,
Everything you want to keep.
Being absorbed by you.
Absorbing all that lovely wisdom.
And now we've got what's left.
OK,
So just imagine now opening and parting your hands and letting the rest just drift away.
There's no need to push or control this.
Just letting them gently float away into the distance.
Your hands kind of open in surrender.
We're just letting go.
We're letting go.
So tapping under the arm still,
Just letting go.
Letting go and however today was we're going to say thank you So just repeat this in your mind.
Thank you for this day.
Thank you for all that was good in it.
Thank you for what challenged me and made me stronger.
And thank you for what I'm choosing to release right now.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Okay,
Top of the head.
Reminding yourself that today you did the best that you could with the energy that you had,
With the information that you had and with the version of yourself that showed up this morning.
Because tomorrow there's going to be a different version of you and the next day and the next day.
But for today.
.
.
That is enough.
That was enough.
You know,
This growth doesn't come from really tearing ourselves apart at the end of the day.
It comes from this,
This really honest but gentle reflection.
We're being really kind to ourselves.
We're willing to look at our day,
Our lives and to learn and still choose kindness towards ourselves when we do that.
And that can feel quite difficult.
I know.
But you're doing that right now and that really matters more than you know.
Okay.
Well done.
So we're going to go back now to regular tapping for our final round.
So you can have your eyes open or closed.
It's up to you.
Repeating after me again,
Tapping on the eyebrow point.
I release the weight of today with compassion and intention.
Side of the eye.
I honour what was hard.
I keep what I've learned.
Under the eye.
I forgive myself for the human moments.
We all have those.
Under the nose.
I acknowledge where I showed up well today.
Even if nobody else noticed.
I noticed.
You noticed.
Chinpoint.
Today is complete and I carry forward only what serves me.
Collarbone.
I'm at peace with this day.
I'm at peace with this day.
Under the arm,
I close it with kindness.
Top of the head I am enough I did enough.
And so it is.
I am enough,
I did enough,
And so it is.
So stop tapping here,
Place a hand on your heart.
Close your eyes.
Take a gentle breath in.
And let it go.
Just take a moment to notice how you feel.
Having really reflected on your day with.
Honesty and kindness.
It's a really beautiful thing to do for yourself.
And let's repeat that final affirmation gently in your mind now.
One last time.
I am enough.
I did enough.
And so it is.
I am enough.
I did enough.
And so it is.
And so it is.
So you can carry that into your sleep and into your dreams.
Sleep well and thank you for tapping with me.
