Activating your heart center.

Begin by finding a comfortable position with your spine as straight as is comfortable.

This can be either laying down or seated upright.

Begin by focusing in on your breathing.

Breathing in and out as deeply and slowly as is comfortable.

Feel the movement of your body as you breathe.

Now bring your awareness to your hands.

If you're laying down,

Have your palms facing upward.

If you're seated,

You can have your palms upward on your thighs.

And now choose a mudra,

A hand position.

If you're unfamiliar with mudras,

Simply touch the tip of your thumb to your pointer finger.

Let your awareness rest in your hands.

Now as you breathe in,

Bring your awareness slowly up from your hands into your forearms,

Upper arms,

And chest.

Hold your awareness in your chest as you exhale.

And then do this once more on the inhale.

You're breathing in and being conscious,

Bringing awareness from your hands through your wrists,

Forearms,

Upper arms,

Shoulders,

And into your heart area.

As you exhale,

Keep your awareness in your heart area and continue to hold your awareness in the region of your heart,

Your chest.

As you let your breathing remain calm yet recede to the background.

Your concentration is on the chest area.

Now as you breathe in,

Imagine either a beautiful golden light or a green light in the center of your heart.

As you breathe in,

The light grows brighter.

As you exhale,

The beauty,

Color,

And feeling of that light spreads throughout your body.

Inhalation is the visual imagery of the light and the color.

Exhalation is releasing that light throughout your body and into the world around you.

Continue with this process for the next minute and enjoy the activation and awakening of your heart center.

It's amazing how much we can achieve inwardly in a very short period of time.

Perfect, possibly a light bell to symbolize ending would be nice knowing it was over but it was blissful

Exactly what I needed to come back into control of my mind. Haven’t meditated in a while and this took the fear of starting again away.

Amazing meditation audio. I envisioned the light being in my favorite color ( electric/aqua blue). It is short / sweet/excellent for anxiety .

I like this meditation. I especially liked the imagery of the green light growing brighter and then being dispelled thru the body. The music fit for this meditation also. Thank you very much!🌺
