Welcome,
Take a moment to pause.
You do not need to fix everything right now.
You do not need to untangle every thought.
Just allowing yourself a few quiet moments to breathe and gently notice the body where you are,
The support beneath you,
The feeling of the breath moving in and out without forcing anything,
Without needing the mind to suddenly become quiet,
Just noticing.
Breathing in slowly and exhaling gently and again a slow breath in and a soft breath out.
And if negative thoughts have been moving through the mind today,
Overthinking,
Worry,
Self-criticism,
Fear,
Replaying conversations or imagining worst-case scenarios,
Just notice that those thoughts are here without fighting them,
Without judging yourself for having them.
Thoughts are something the mind creates,
Especially when you are tired,
Stressed,
Overwhelmed or emotionally stretched.
And right now,
You do not need to solve every thought that appears.
You do not even need to make them disappear.
Instead,
Imagine yourself taking one small step back from the stream of thinking.
Creating just a little space,
Enough to breathe again.
And perhaps now,
You can begin to notice that thoughts are not solid facts.
They are movements of the mind,
Passing through,
Changing constantly.
And you do not have to believe every thought that passes through your mind.
Let that sink in gently.
You do not have to believe every thought.
Some thoughts are simply fear speaking.
Some are stress.
Some are old patterns trying to protect you and they can be allowed to soften now.
You might imagine each thought like a cloud moving slowly across the sky.
You do not need to chase it.
You do not need to hold on to it.
And you do not need to push it away.
Just letting it pass.
And each time you notice yourself getting caught in thought again,
Gently returning to the breath.
Returning to this moment.
Returning to the feeling of being here.
Breathing in and breathing out.
And perhaps now,
The mind feels just a little less crowded.
A little softer.
A little quieter.
Not perfect,
Just calmer,
More spacious.
And in this space,
Remind yourself gently,
I am allowed to rest from overthinking.
I am allowed to let this moment be enough.
I am allowed to soften.
Take one final slow breath in and exhale gently.
And as you continue with your day,
Carry with you the reminder that thoughts can come and go and you do not need to hold on to every one of them.
There is space within you beyond the noise.
And you can return to that space any time you need.
