Through you, we begin to touch the unfathomable mystery of this Universe..... Beloved Aphrodite, the Romans named you Venus for you are both morning and evening star, you are the brightest of stars. In the cold northern lands of the Norse peoples, you were named Freya. In the hot southern lands of Egypt, you were named Bast. Beloved Aphrodite, beloved Venus, Goddess of beauty, love, romance, delight, sensuality, and pleasure. Your lightest caress turns the heart, mind, and body towards love."
