Hello,
My name is Steve Garino.
I'm pleased to be your guide during this meditation.
I created this meditation to assist you in giving yourself a very special gift,
The gift of forgiveness,
So you can begin living a healthier,
Happier,
More satisfying life.
If you haven't done so already,
Find a quiet,
Peaceful place to listen to this meditation,
Where it's unlikely you'll be disturbed.
You may listen to this meditation with your eyes closed,
Sitting in a chair or lying down.
Do what feels best for you and your body.
Allow your hands to rest comfortably at your side or in your lap.
The most important thing is for you to be comfortable.
Allow yourself to be comfortable now.

Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself.

God specializes in giving people a fresh start.

Many of us have done or said something we wish we hadn't,
Or not done or said something we wish we had.
As a result,
We become upset with ourselves and often have a difficult time letting go of those emotions.
The truth is,
We all make mistakes.
It's a natural part of living and learning.
Hopefully we learn from our mistakes and become more aware of our future choices.
If you're ready to feel better and overcome the emotional upset you're experiencing,
This meditation will help you give yourself the gift of forgiveness you deserve.
When we forgive ourselves,
We benefit and others do as well.
When we let go of the pain that has been holding us back,
We experience more peace and happiness.
Naturally,
When we feel better,
We treat ourselves and those around us better.
This allows you and those around you to take part in more fulfilling and rewarding relationships.
The process of forgiving yourself can be emotional.
However,
The emotional freedom you gain will make it worthwhile.
Know this.
You are worthy of receiving the gift of forgiveness and experiencing a greater level of health,
Happiness and well-being in your life.
Have faith that you will.
Trust that it's possible to let go of the feelings you've been holding on to.
It is possible.
Allow this to be your time,
A sacred time of complete relaxation and inner peace.
A time for you to accept lasting grace and forgiveness.
Take a moment to set an intention that at the end of this meditation,
You enjoy the healing,
Freedom and peace that forgiving yourself provides.
Set that intention now.
Begin to be aware of your breath.
Allow your breath to flow gently and peacefully into your nostrils.
Each time you take a breath,
Notice the sensation as the air you breathe softly caresses the bridge between your nostrils as it begins to enter your body.
As you exhale,
Be aware of the sensation as the air slowly leaves your body,
Exiting your nostrils.
Appreciate each breath while realizing that the air you breathe allows you to be filled with life.
As you take your next several breaths,
Accept each one with gratitude,
Knowing your body Allow each breath to bring you more peace,
More harmony and more love.
On your next breath,
Bring your awareness to the very top of your head.
As you breathe in,
Allow yourself to breathe the sacred and pure light of love into your body through the top of your head.
Allow the pure and forgiving energy of love to begin spreading down into your forehead.
Experience the sensation as your forehead and temples begin to let go and relax.
Now that soft,
Warm,
Grace-filled energy of love flows into the area around your eyes,
Cheeks and jaw.
The muscles of your face now soft,
Relaxed,
Perfectly peaceful.
The forgiving and healing energy of love now traveling into the muscles of your neck and deep into your shoulders.
Soothing healing sensations being felt everywhere the energy flows.
The sacred soothing energy now dripping down into your arms and to the very tips of your fingers.
Relax your body.
Relax your mind.
Allow forgiveness to provide you with the freedom you deserve.
Vibrant energy now flowing into your chest.
Allow this loving and forgiving energy to settle there.
Opening and warming your heart.
Your heart softening as you experience more peace,
More joy and more love.
Now making its way into your stomach.
Let go more as your stomach rises and falls with each slow,
Peaceful breath.
Your thoughts becoming weightless.
Your body becoming weightless.
As you take your next love-filled breath,
Notice as the healing energies flow into your back.
Warm healing sensations now slowly traveling down your spine.
Feelings now moving down into your torso,
Back of your thighs and into the front of your leg.
Allow the magic to transform you as all tension fades away.
As the forgiving energies flow down through your knees and into your lower legs.
Feelings of forgiveness and grace making their way into your ankles,
Feet and to the very tips of your toes.
Experience this divine loving energy all the way from the very tips of your toes and all the way traveling up,
All the way up your body to the very top of your head.
As you listen to my voice and soothing music,
Let's go through a gentle process of self-forgiveness.
Begin by becoming aware of all the new things that will be possible for you once you allow the healing energy of forgiveness to heal and soften your heart.
Create a picture in your mind of all the things you'll be doing,
The people you'll be spending time with,
As well as any other changes that will take place in your life when you're feeling happier and more at peace with yourself.
Pay attention to the freedom,
Happiness and joy that are yours because you've given yourself the precious gift of forgiveness.
You're free to smile,
Free to be yourself,
Free to laugh and free to love yourself and others.
Imagine all that's possible when forgiving energies clear and cleanse your heart and mind.
Absorb all that happiness you're experiencing now.
As you take your next breath,
Let the air you breathe in flow deeply into your heart.
As your heart becomes more peaceful,
Become aware of the experiences,
Incidents,
Qualities and characteristics in your life that are causing you to be upset with yourself.
What's happening in the present or has happened in the past that's standing in the way of you living a happier,
More joy-filled life?
What's blocking you from living in freedom and happiness the way you just imagined?
On your next breath,
Pay attention to one thing specifically that is blocking you that you most want to forgive yourself for.
As you draw your attention to the one thing you most want to forgive yourself for,
What is taking place inside of you?
Are you feeling sad,
Disappointed,
Angry or frustrated?
Is there internal dialogue taking place inside of you?
Allow yourself to pay attention to any angry,
Resentful,
Self-blaming thoughts or feelings you may be experiencing.
Now ask yourself these questions.
What is it that I believe I'm getting out of treating myself this way?
What do I believe I'm receiving from carrying around this anger and self-blame?
What benefit is there to me in this?
Is the benefit that you get to continue to play small beneath the level of your ability?
Do you get to avoid taking reasonable risks,
Costing yourself the opportunity to achieve the goals,
Dreams and desires you have for your life?
Does it allow you to play the victim in your life so you don't need to accept responsibility for the current condition of your life?
Use this time to become aware of what you're getting out of continuing to hold on to the shame,
Blame and resentment you're punishing yourself with.
As you breathe gently into your heart,
Consider this.
What is it costing you to hold on to the shame,
Self-blame and resentment?
What things that you'd like to do in your life are you not doing because of the emotional pain you're experiencing?
How would your life be different if you no longer lived with those painful and negative emotions?
Trust this.
Everything in your life has the opportunity to be a gift.
Listen to the wisdom that's inside your heart as you answer these questions.
What lesson or lessons are you meant to learn from this experience that will help you make better choices and avoid this happening in the future?
What wisdom is now available to you that will allow you to begin living your life in a happier,
More joy-filled way?
While continuing to listen to your heart,
Allow yourself to experience a new,
Empowering interpretation of the incident,
Situation or quality in your life that has been holding you back.
What gift does this new wisdom share with you that allows you to see things differently and supports and empowers you in your life?
As you breathe deeply into your heart,
Imagine the old negative interpretations and resentful internal dialogue are large,
Unattractive,
Burdensome weights you've been carrying around with you that have been attached to your body.
With love for yourself,
Allow yourself to release those weights now.
Imagine letting go of the bonds of those negative burdens.
Watch as the weight drops off of you as they melt away.
Take a deep,
Cleansing breath and give yourself the kind and loving attention you need to seal in this process of compassion and forgiveness as you completely receive the lesson and wisdom that are meant for you,
For having the courage to go through this healing process.
As you listen to your heart,
Hear an action or practice you can implement that will help you complete the process of forgiving yourself and integrate the gifts you've received.
On your next breath,
Listen and hear a healthy,
Healing statement of acceptance,
Self-love,
And compassion,
Something you can tell yourself as often as you need,
A statement that will provide you with the forgiveness and self-love you deserve.
Allow this statement to saturate your body and mind as you now realize and accept this greater truth.
Now become aware of what you can accomplish in your life as you let go and forgive yourself.
What will be different in your life?
What will you have and accomplish in your life that was not previously possible?
Continue to enjoy those thoughts as you experience the sensation of being wrapped in a safe,
Soft,
Warm blanket of healing energies that comfort you and provide you with the health,
Happiness,
And love you deserve.
Drift off now with those thoughts as you listen to the soothing,
Healing,
Forgiving music that's giving you a fresh start.
My voice will return shortly.
Allow this time to reinforce the new beginning that's yours now that you've given yourself the gift of forgiveness.
Begin to become aware of your breath.
Begin to gently start moving your fingers and toes.
Begin to start moving your hands and feet.
Now your arms and legs as you start to become more and more aware of your surroundings.
You may choose to continue to sit or lie down or you may choose to resume your day.
Take a moment and give yourself appreciation for going through this process and giving yourself the gift of these healing energies.
It's okay to appreciate and love yourself.
Anytime you feel the need to forgive yourself,
You can listen to this meditation.
