I'm pleased to be your guide during this meditation.
I created this guided meditation to help you forgive someone that's caused you pain.
This meditation will be helpful whether you want to continue a relationship with them or not.
During this meditation,
I'll walk you through a gentle process of forgiveness that will allow you to free yourself from the unhealthy emotions you may be experiencing.
Choose to forgive,
Not necessarily because they deserve your forgiveness.
Forgive so you can enjoy a healthier,
Happier,
More satisfying life.
Withholding forgiveness is not healthy.
It causes us to experience emotional discomfort and even physical illness.
Forgiving frees us so we can better enjoy our life and move towards our goals and dreams.
When we forgive,
We give ourselves a valuable gift.
Forgiving allows us to release ourselves from the emotional bondage we're wrapped in.
When you let go,
You'll experience a freedom and lightness that improves the quality of your life.
I'd like to share with you three inspirational quotes relating to forgiveness.

If you haven't done so already,
Find a quiet,
Peaceful place to listen to this meditation where it's unlikely you'll be disturbed.
You may listen to this meditation with your eyes closed,
Sitting in a chair or lying down.
Do what feels best for you and your body.
Allow your hands to rest comfortably at your side or in your lap.
The most important thing is for you to be comfortable.
Allow yourself to be comfortable now.
Many of us have experienced emotional and or physical discomfort as a result of the actions or inactions of another person.
The person we are having difficulty forgiving may have cost us a little or even a lot of emotional pain and suffering.
You may feel that the last thing you want to do is forgive them.
The truth is that by not forgiving them,
The only one you are truly hurting is yourself.
That's the reason forgiving is so important.
Just allow the actions or inactions of someone else have an effect on your life any longer.
It's time to free yourself and allow your greatness to shine through.
I realize it may not seem natural to forgive someone that has hurt you.
However,
It's important to do.
When we forgive,
We benefit and the people we care about also benefit.
When we let go of the emotional discomfort that has been holding us back,
We experience more peace and happiness in our lives.
Naturally,
When we feel better,
We treat ourselves and those around us better.
This allows you and those around you to take part in more fulfilling and rewarding relationships.
Know this.
You are worthy of experiencing a greater level of health,
Happiness,
And well-being in your life.
Have faith that you will.
Trust that it's possible to let go of the uncomfortable thoughts and feelings that are affecting your life.
It is possible.
Allow this to be your sacred time,
A time of complete relaxation and inner peace,
A time where it's safe to offer grace and forgiveness so you can receive the emotional freedom and peace you deserve.
Take some time to set an intention that at the end of this meditation,
You'll enjoy the freedom and peace that are yours when you allow forgiveness to be a part of your life.
Set your intention now.
If you experience uncomfortable memories during this process,
It's quite natural.
Know that in order to work through your pain,
It's important to face what is causing the pain and make peace with it so you can free yourself from it.
My voice and the soft music will be with you to help you during this process.
Begin to be aware of your breath.
Allow your breath to flow gently,
Peacefully into your nostrils.
Each time you take a breath,
Notice the sensation as the air you breathe softly caresses the bridge between your nostrils as it begins to enter your body.
As you exhale,
Be aware of the sensation as the air slowly leaves your body,
Exiting your nostrils.
Appreciate each breath while realizing the air you breathe allows you to be filled with life and health.
As you take your next several breaths,
Accept each one with gratitude,
Knowing your body sustains itself through this process of breathing.
Allow each breath to bring you more peace,
More harmony,
And more love.
On your next breath,
Bring your awareness to the top of your head.
As you breathe in,
Allow yourself to breathe the healing light of love into your body through the top of your head.
Allow this pure and forgiving energy to spread into your forehead.
Sense the sensation as your forehead and temples begin to let go and relax.
Now the soft,
Warm energy flows into the area around your eyes,
Cheeks,
And jaw.
The muscles of your face now soft,
Relaxed,
Perfectly peaceful.
The forgiving and healing energy now traveling into the muscles of your neck and deep into your shoulders,
Soothing,
Healing sensations being felt everywhere the energy flows.
The sacred,
Soothing energy now dripping down into your arms and to the very tips of your fingers.
Relax your body.
Relax your mind.
Allow the power of forgiveness to provide you with the freedom you deserve.
Vibrant energy now flowing into your chest.
Allow this loving,
Forgiving energy to settle there,
Opening and warming your heart,
Your heart softening now as you experience more freedom,
More peace,
And more joy.
Now making its way into your stomach,
Let go more as your stomach peacefully rises and falls with each slow,
Calming breath.
Your thoughts becoming weightless,
Your body becoming weightless.
As you take your next breath,
Notice as the healing energies flow into your back,
Warm,
Healing sensations now traveling slowly down your spine.
All feelings now moving into the area of your hips,
Back of your thighs,
And into the front of your legs.
Allow the magic to transform you as all tension fades away,
As the energy of forgiveness flows down through your knees into your lower legs.
Feelings of freedom and forgiveness making their way into your ankles,
Feet,
And to the very tips of your toes.
Notice this divine,
Loving energy from the tips of your toes all the way up your body to the very top of your head.
As you listen to my voice and the soothing music,
Let's go through a gentle process of forgiveness that leads you to the emotional freedom you deserve.
Start by becoming aware of all the new things that will be possible once you allow the healing energies of forgiveness to open and soften your heart.
Create a picture in your mind of all the new and exciting things you'll be doing,
The fun,
Happy people you'll be spending time with,
Along with any other changes that will take place in your life.
When you experience the increased happiness,
Peace,
And freedom that forgiving provides,
You're free to smile,
Free to be yourself,
Free to laugh,
And free to love yourself and others.
It's all that's possible when forgiving energies clear and cleanse your heart and mind.
Breathe deeply into your heart as you take a few moments to answer this question.
Who do you most need to forgive in order to experience the vision you just had?
Is it your partner,
A family member,
Your boss,
A stranger?
Trust without judgment that whoever came to your mind is the person you most need to forgive at this time.
Experience the anger and bitterness you're carrying towards them that's keeping you stuck in the past,
Preventing you from living the life you desire and deserve.
What is it that you most resent or blame this person for?
In as much color and detail as possible,
Allow yourself to see and hear everything that took place to cause the emotional upset you've been experiencing.
If you experience uncomfortable emotions,
Breathe peacefully into your heart and remind yourself that you are safe during this healing process.
Take a slow and peaceful breath.
As you do,
Imagine the person you're forgiving as they may have been when they were a young child,
Under the age of eight.
What does this person look like as a small child?
Study their face,
Including their eyes,
Cheeks,
Lips,
And now their small frame.
What is their mood like?
It's time to observe them now.
As you take your next breath,
Imagine what it might feel like to be this child.
If you're experiencing sadness,
Anger,
Or any other emotions,
It's completely okay.
Allow the feelings to flow through you without holding onto them.
Now sit down across from this child so you can look directly into their eyes.
While looking into their eyes,
Share with them how they've hurt you.
Share your feelings as completely as you can,
Telling them everything you need and want to say.
Now take time to process these questions.
What are you feeling inside of you at this time?
How did it feel to express your feelings to this child?
As you take a deep,
Cleansing breath,
Ask this child to tell you about their pain.
Ask them to share with you what caused them to be the way they are.
Ask them to share with you what from their past.
Cause them to treat you the way that they did.
Take a deep breath and gently open your heart to their pain and the struggles they have experienced.
Take a gentle breath into your heart.
Now looking into their eyes,
Ask them these questions.
What wisdom do you have to share with me?
What lesson can I learn from the resentment I've held against you?
Allow yourself to hear the lesson they have to share with you that up till now you've been unable or unwilling to hear.
While still looking into their eyes,
Ask them this.
What do I need to give up in order to receive the lesson you've been offering me?
What belief,
Judgement or behaviour do I need to let go of to receive the wisdom you hold for me?
Allow yourself to receive their answer without judgement.
While continuing to look into their eyes,
Ask them what action or actions can I take in order to integrate the wisdom you have for me that will help me feel better and enjoy my life more?
Now ask them what will be available to me in the present and in the future if I accept your wisdom and let go of the resentment I've been holding onto?
Allow yourself to vividly and clearly see how you will benefit by forgiving this person.
Would you experience more happiness?
More peace?
More freedom?
More love?
Now ask if there's anything else they'd like to say to you.
If there is,
Allow them to do so now.
Don't take time to say anything else you need to say in order to let go of the resentment you've been experiencing towards them.
If you're ready to give up the resentment,
Tell this child that you're going to lovingly cut the cord of resentment that has kept the two of you tied together in a negative way.
Notice there's an energetic cord of resentment attached from somewhere on your body to somewhere on their body.
Assure yourself that it's safe now to cut this cord and let go of the resentment you've been holding onto.
Take a deep,
Loving breath and when you're ready,
Imagine cutting the cord of resentment.
See the end of the cord that's attached to you grow smaller and smaller until it disappears.
See the end of the cord attached to them also grow smaller and smaller until it disappears.
That's what it feels like to be free.
Breathe peace and love into whatever you're feeling.
Look into the eyes of the child and thank them for sharing their wisdom with you.
If you want to continue to have a relationship with them,
Tell them that you're going to have a new relationship with them.
Let them know that you will no longer use them to beat yourself up.
Tell them that you will no longer use them as your excuse not to be and have everything you want.
See this child growing smaller and smaller until they are small enough to fit into the palm of your hand.
Raise your hand over your heart and allow them to enter your heart.
As you breathe them in,
Silently say the words,
I forgive you and I bless you.
If you do not want a relationship with them and you are ready,
Let them know they are forgiven.
Now allow them to become smaller and smaller and smaller still until they peacefully and simply fade away.
If you are not able to forgive them at this time,
Don't judge yourself.
You can listen to this meditation as often as you like so you can experience the freedom you deserve.
As you take a cleansing breath into your heart,
Allow yourself to hear a powerful statement that will help you fully release yourself from the resentment you've been holding onto that moves you confidently into the future you desire.
What word or words could you affirm to yourself that will remind you of your new way of being?
Allow yourself to hear these encouraging and transformational words now.
As you continue to repeat those powerful words,
Experience the sensation of being wrapped in a safe,
Soft,
Warm blanket of healing energies that comfort you and provide you with the health,
Happiness,
And love you deserve.
Drift off now and imagine how your life will be different now that you've given and received these special gifts.
Imagine living your life with more joy,
Freedom,
Love,
And abundance because you gave yourself the gift of forgiveness.
Now listen to this soothing,
Healing,
Forgiving music that's giving you a fresh start.
My voice will return shortly.
As you continue to repeat those powerful words,
Experience the sensation of being wrapped in a safe,
Soft,
Warm blanket of healing energies that comfort you and provide you with the Begin to become aware of your breath.
Begin to gently start moving your fingers and your toes.
Begin to start moving your hands and feet.
And now your arms and legs as you start to become more and more aware of your surroundings.
You may choose to continue to sit or lie down or you may choose to resume your day.
Take a moment and give yourself appreciation for going through this process and giving yourself the gift of these healing energies.
It's okay to appreciate and love yourself.
You can listen to this meditation as many times as you need in order to forgive the person that came to your mind today or anyone else.
Once we begin the process of forgiving,
It becomes easier to do.
The more forgiving you do,
The more freedom you will receive.

Such great commitment in his verbal healing! I felt the freedom he speaks about! Plan on listening a couple times if you tend to emote, it made the experience even more impactful the second listen. Hope this helps everyone else as much as it helped me.

Brought me to tears - the whole time. While I verbally forgave my friend already - this was so vital for me to let go more, of the resentment of his abandoning me as a friend....I was attached emotionally. So I’m still trying to cut the cord and forgive. I will be back to do this meditation again. It is needed. Thank you ❤️
