Hello beautiful friends.
Happy Valentine's Day.
Today join me in a self-love meditation.
And now just begin by breathing in and breathing out,
Allowing your eyes to gently close down,
Continuing to breathe in and breathe out.
Just bringing your attention to right here in this moment.
Listening to my voice,
Listening to your breath,
Letting all distractions just float away and you remain here with me.
Just letting any distracting thoughts just drift away with an exhaling breath.
Any unwanted thoughts just disappear and all of your stress and tension just melt away and you just take a moment for you to get in touch with you.
What a gift to give yourself today.
So I want you to just take a moment and just tap lightly on your heart chakra or your heart space.
Just waking it up,
Inviting it to activate.
There you go,
That's right.
And now go ahead and gently just place your hand wherever it was before.
So as you continue to breathe in and breathe out,
You notice a little spark of light beginning to shine from your heart center.
Notice the color.
Notice how it begins to expand with each breath that you take.
Every time you inhale,
It expands.
Every time you exhale,
It expands.
This energy in your heart center is beginning to grow.
It's beginning to flow all within you and all around you.
That's right.
That's right.
Just allowing your breath to continue to open up your heart center.
That's right.
Just breathing in,
Breathing out.
Watch how big that light can expand around you and how it can flow and take up all of the space within you,
Reaching every cell in your body.
Now as your heart center is open and activated and flowing within you and all around you,
I want you to begin to think about all of the kind things you've ever done for anyone in your life.
Loved ones,
Strangers,
Even loving and kind things you've done for yourself.
Just really remember all the love you've given,
All of the love you've put out into the world.
All of the ripple effects that you may never know because of the love you've given.
Just take a moment remembering your kindness,
Your compassion,
The way you like to give love to your friends,
To your family,
To your colleagues,
To strangers,
To the causes you care about.
And now take a moment and think about all of the love you've received throughout your life.
Even the smallest,
Tiniest forms of love,
Like smiles from a stranger,
Someone holding the door for you,
Or telling you thank you if you've held the door for them.
Every small act has an impact,
A ripple effect,
A moment of love imprinted on your heart,
Allowing you to receive the love,
Remembering the love with your walls down,
Allowing yourself to just take a moment in gratitude for all of the love that you've received,
For all of the people who have been in your life to create loving moments and memories with.
Even if that person has left your life,
There was a time,
There was a memory that you have that you have that you can be grateful for,
That that memory existed because they were in your life for a moment,
For a time.
If perhaps you're finding sadness there within your heart energy and it's focused around a relationship that has ended,
Take a moment and reflect on the lessons you learned from that relationship,
The breakthroughs you had,
What you learned about love,
What you learned about yourself,
Who you are now because of that relationship.
What do you know now that you didn't know before?
What did you learn about the way you love to love and the way you love to be loved?
What can you take away and how can you begin to let the sadness shrink and the gratitude grow?
Now,
If you still find that there is some resistance to your heart space opening up completely to give love,
To receive love,
To remember and overflow with gratitude,
I want you to imagine that you have a rose in your hand.
It can be any color you choose and I want you to imagine that you're using that rose around your heart space to clean up to clean up any of that energy left behind,
Any of the negativity,
Any of the dark spots within your heart space,
Your heart energy,
Your heart chakra.
Just clean it up with that rose,
Cleaning it up.
That rose will easily absorb all of the dark spots,
All of the negativity,
All of the doubt,
The fear,
The distrust.
Letting it clean it up and then just release it out to the universe to be recycled for your highest good.
Now,
As you continue to focus on your heart space and the energy flowing more freely now,
Maybe it's brighter,
Maybe it's clearer,
Maybe it's more pure.
Remind yourself that your value remains the same when you are single as when you are in a relationship.
You are valid,
You are whole,
You are beautiful and kind,
You are brilliant and funny,
You are everything you need to be,
You are everything you wish you already are.
And now maybe make a commitment to yourself to leave your heart space open so that you can accept yourself more.
Love yourself the way you need to be loved.
Allow love in,
Letting yourself learn to receive love from others,
Letting the love in,
Letting it in and feeling confident in who you are.
Remembering that you are always enough when you're in a relationship and you're always enough when you're single.
You're a beautiful being,
Your soul is magnificent,
You make a difference in this world,
Your happiness matters,
Your life matters,
You are a beautiful being and you deserve to receive love just as you are deserving to give love.
You get to influence and make such a positive impact by giving love out and receiving love in.
That's right.
So just take a moment and tell yourself anything you need to hear today,
Anything to remind you of your value,
Of your worth,
Of your beauty,
Of your brilliance,
Of your heart.
And that love is your friend so you can keep your heart space open,
Your heart energy open,
Allowing that energy to continue to flow within you and all around you.
And anytime it gets a little heavy,
A little negative,
Dark spots start to show up,
Just take that rose and clean it up and then release it back out to the universe to be recycled for your highest good.
Just take a moment now,
Be with yourself,
See yourself,
Love yourself.
Love yourself.
Very,
Very well done.
Now just return your focus back to your breath,
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
And just notice how you feel better now than when you started.
Feeling calm,
Feeling peaceful,
Connected with your heart chakra,
Your heart energy,
Connected to your love,
Connected to your value,
Your worth,
Your power.
Love is a gift you give yourself and those around you.
Receiving love is a gift you give yourself and those around you.
And when you're ready,
Go ahead and take in a nice deep breath.
And with your exhale,
Go ahead and open your eyes,
Returning to your day,
Feeling better than you did before,
Reminded of your value,
Your heart space open,
Ready to give love,
To receive love,
And to just be you.
