Hi love bugs,
It's time to forgive yourself.
You've been punishing yourself long enough.
I'm Steph and I'm delighted you're here.
When you're ready,
Go ahead and take a nice big deep breath and exhale nice and slow.
And take in another deep breath.
And with your exhale,
Allow your eyes to gently close.
Take in another deep breath and with your exhale,
Release all the stress and tension from the day.
Very well.
Now I want you to imagine that you're on a path out in nature.
It's such a lovely path,
A dirt path.
And you notice along the path as you're walking in the rain,
All the beautiful greenery,
The plants,
The flowers,
The butterflies,
The birds.
As you continue along this path,
You come upon a beautiful waterfall.
With a very shallow pool underneath it,
You notice that this waterfall's energy feels different.
It pulls to you,
Feels magnetic,
Feels healing and loving and warm.
It feels a little bit like home.
And as you're drawn to this waterfall,
You step into the pool and notice that the water goes up to about your ankles and it's just the right temperature.
And as you reach out your hands,
The waterfall splashes them.
The waterfall is also just the right temperature.
And you continue to breathe and you notice that this water feels soothing.
It feels like liquid love,
Liquid compassion,
Liquid forgiveness.
Liquid compassion,
Liquid forgiveness.
And you decide that you want to sit under the waterfall and you can decide if the waterfall is flowing over your head or maybe it's flowing over your shoulders,
Down your back and over your heart center.
Or perhaps the waterfall is directly flowing over your heart center.
Whatever you decide is just fine.
And as you sit under the waterfall,
You feel this liquid love,
This liquid compassion,
This liquid forgiveness flowing over you.
And you notice it's inspiring you,
Inviting you to forgive yourself and release the replaying of the mistakes you've made,
The pain,
The doubt.
You've served your time.
You've punished yourself enough.
You've been angry long enough.
You've been withholding the love,
The goodness that life wants to offer you long enough.
So now it's time to forgive yourself.
Forgive yourself.
For those moments that you've been holding onto and beating yourself up about,
Punishing yourself up,
Replaying in your mind over and over and over again.
It's okay to forgive yourself.
Now to take the lessons from those memories,
From those moments and to move forward into the now with those lessons,
Leaving the pain and the pain and the pain and the pain and the pain and the pain and the pain and the pain and the pain and the pain and the pain and the pain and the pain and the pain and the pain and the punishment behind.
You could even imagine yourself knowing that you've brought the lesson with you.
You can unhook your emotions from this memory.
You can unhook the anger,
The self-hatred,
The embarrassment,
The shame,
The disappointment,
The pain from this memory,
Bringing the lesson with you and allowing forgiveness to flow within you and all around you.
You notice that the water from this waterfall has a rippling effect,
A lingering effect that this liquid love and forgiveness is able to pass through your skin all the way to your soul.
This liquid love and forgiveness and compassion touches every single cell,
Every nerve,
Every organ,
Every thought,
Every feeling.
It flows through your mind.
It touches all of your thoughts,
Encouraging you to move forward with the process of forgiveness and love and self-compassion,
Understanding that in your human experience,
There will be times when you've done something that has hurt someone or hurt yourself,
Times when you wish you could have made a different choice,
Taken a different action.
However,
It's the mistakes that help guide us,
That help teach us who we want to be,
How we want to live,
What's important to us,
What we value so that we can be this version of ourselves in the present and in the future.
Sometimes we make mistakes when we're hurt,
When we're surviving,
When we doubt ourselves,
When we forget how enough and worthy we are.
So allow this water,
This loving liquid forgiveness wash over you and you notice that the water is starting to turn a murky color as you release the self-punishment,
The anger,
The shame,
The embarrassment,
The disappointment.
And you notice it flows away from you.
It flows into a portion of the water that recycles it in to more love,
More liquid forgiveness,
More liquid compassion so that you can be completely surrounded with love and forgiveness and compassion.
And you sit under this waterfall until it runs clear,
Until the murkiness is gone,
Allowing that forgiveness to flow within you,
Touching every part of you,
Healing you,
Loving you,
Accepting you,
Encouraging you and inspiring you to move forward with self-love and self-compassion and self-forgiveness.
Sometimes we're doing the best we can with the knowledge we have and then later we learn we can do better so we do.
But knowing to do better now doesn't take away that we were doing the best we could at that time.
We get to learn and grow over our lifetime and this means mistakes will happen that will fall short,
Will mess up from time to time.
And this means we have a lifetime of self-forgiveness to pour onto ourselves.
You are not meant to spend your life punishing yourself for the things you wish were different,
For the things you regret that you've said or that you've done.
This life is made to experience love,
Forgiveness,
Growth and compassion and now is the time to offer yourself those very things.
So take as much time as you need for the water to run clear.
Thanks.
Very well.
You've done such important work today,
Such healing work today,
Such brave work today.
And you can take this with you.
You'll take this experience with you and know that forgiveness is a process.
It's something you get to practice every day.
And on the days that you need to,
Give yourself extra love,
Extra compassion.
You could even imagine that every time you take a shower,
That water is liquid love,
Liquid forgiveness and liquid compassion washing over you.
And every time you shower,
You get a chance to release what you've been carrying.
The disappointment,
The shame,
The embarrassment,
The self-hatred,
The self-cruelty,
The demeaning yourself.
You get to release that every time you shower and let liquid love,
Liquid forgiveness and liquid compassion flow over you and within you,
Refreshing you,
Recharging you,
Reminding you of your goodness,
Of your worth,
Of your value.
Go ahead and take in another deep breath.
Letting the oxygen nourish you from the inside.
Exhaling nice and slow.
One more deep breath filled with gratitude for the work you did today,
For how wonderful you are.
Knowing that you've stepped out from underneath the waterfall and you've allowed the sun to dry you up.
Feeling whole and complete and loved.
Taking in another deep breath.
Inhaling love.
And when you're ready,
You can start your way back down the path feeling lighter,
Freer,
More like you.
More like love and joy and compassion.
Taking in another deep breath.
Breathing forgiveness,
Exhaling forgiveness.
And when you're ready,
You can go ahead and open your eyes,
Returning to your day as a new version of you.
The you you've always been,
Filled with forgiveness and love and compassion.
Thank you so much for taking this time with me.
I hope that you feel a little lighter,
A little freer,
Filled more with love and forgiveness that you've forgiven yourself for being human,
For making mistakes and taking the lesson with you.
Knowing that you matter,
You're enough,
You're lovable,
You're worthy and you have this whole life to continue to grow and that's a beautiful thing.
Remember to like and subscribe and thank you from the bottom of my heart for being here.
Namaste.
