
Joyful Journey Meditation
A mediation that takes you on a joyful, fun, & peaceful journey. You will find yourself walking down a path to rediscover the things that bought you joy as a child. It is great reminder to have in everyday life. Oh the love, the laughter you experience on this will refresh & renew your spirit.
Transcript
Sit back and get comfortable.
You can either do this lying down or sitting in a chair.
Take a deep breath and make sure that your legs are on cross.
Now close your eyes.
Now begin breathing very deeply,
Taking five deep breaths.
And with every breath you excel,
You will become more deeply relaxed.
After the fifth breath,
Concentrate on the weight of your feet.
Your feet being foreign,
Filling to your normal body weight will begin to feel heavy.
And this heavy relaxation from your toes to your heels to your ankles will become very prominent.
You're now feeling this heavy relaxation moving upward into the calves of your legs,
Feeling the weight of your legs pushing down heavier and heavier,
And feeling your legs relaxing deeply,
Deeply relaxing.
And this heavy relaxation moves into your knees as you concentrate only on my voice.
Pay no attention to any sound outside except for the sound of my voice,
For these sounds are everyday sounds of life and cannot distract or disturb you.
But will tend to relax you and allow you to go even deeper into this deep,
Heavy relaxation.
Now feel the relaxation moving upward into your thighs and hips and through the midsection of your body.
Feel the stomach muscles relaxing,
Deeply relaxing,
And the entire chest area becomes saturated with relaxation.
Breathing becomes very deep,
Gentle,
And the drowsy,
Sleepy,
Daydreaming feeling of relaxation takes over,
Letting go.
Drifting down deeper and deeper,
And your arms,
Hands,
And fingers are relaxing,
Feeling a numb,
Pleasant,
Tingling feeling through your fingers as this relaxation grows deeper and deeper.
Neck muscles are relaxing,
And all the little muscles in the scalp are letting go,
Feeling as if the blood is circulating very close to the skin.
This relaxation moves down over your forehead and down over your eyelids,
And your jaw muscles relax deeply,
Deeply relaxing and growing heavier.
And as I count from five down to zero,
Each count will represent deep relaxation,
And you will feel the body relaxing even more and letting go,
Deeper and deeper.
And when I reach zero,
You will go deep asleep.
Now five,
Letting go,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Zero,
Deep sleep.
Now each and every time I suggest deep sleep,
You will go down quickly,
Soundly,
Into a deep hypnotic state.
Each and every time I suggest deep sleep,
You will go down quickly,
Soundly,
And deeply into a hypnotic state.
And as I continue to talk,
You will continue to go deeper and deeper.
Now sometimes you will find ourselves paying attention to the most relaxing things.
Sometimes we find ourselves adding numbers which are numbered nicely.
Other times we drift a bit as we think about all the things that are parallel in the universe and all the things which cross perpendicular across the horizons of those parallel things.
But we always find ourselves slowing down for a stop sign and drifting,
Floating below the threshold of our consciousness.
When we feel ourselves let go of these parallel line thoughts and just focus on how drifting seems effortless,
In a room where blue and green move across the floor,
In a timeless drifting down motion which we find many times to be relaxing,
Relaxing,
Relaxing,
Deeper and deeper as we add three plus three plus three,
Plus the horizon of relaxation in a drifting feeling as we float along to the solution which relaxes us deeper into the mathematical concepts that we are now examining.
Because four plus four is a forethought to forego consciousness.
And drifting happens when we now calculate all the foregoing thoughts in the parallel sphere of our own reality,
Letting go and relaxing deeper and deeper.
One plus one is two of a kind in a straight flush down the river rowing a boat on a relaxing day and getting very tired of rowing,
In rows and rows of hay in a field having been belled by a male that sails down the same river.
And let's go of the drifting current currently relaxing in the warm sunshine,
Relaxing in a chair,
There walking downstairs deeper and deeper.
Now I want you to imagine yourself at the top of a staircase,
A very well lit,
Secure staircase.
Now we're going to count down from 20 to zero and with each step down you will go deeper and deeper.
Now 20,
19,
18,
17,
16,
15,
14,
You're going deeper and deeper,
13,
12,
11,
10,
9,
Deeper and deeper,
9,
8,
7,
6,
5,
4,
3,
2,
1,
Zero,
Deep sleep.
You will continue to go deeper and deeper with each word that I say.
You will find that when I say the word zero,
You even go down even farther.
So we're going to take a journey,
A fun journey,
Someone that brings you laughter,
A place that gives you calmness and just a place that you enjoy.
So I want you to look around and I want you to start walking down this path.
As you start walking down the path,
You just start to sing your favorite song.
You're listening to the birds,
It's like they've joined in with you as you're singing.
And you feel so happy,
So much joy.
As you continue to walk,
You start noticing all your favorite things.
It could be a fruit tree,
Your favorite flowers.
You smell all the different smells that are around you.
And all your senses are heightened.
You are filled with so much joy and love and calmness and peace.
It's hard to believe that this is your life,
That you have so much to be grateful for.
And that feels so amazing.
As you continue to skip along the path,
Sing in your song and soak it in everything that is around you,
The sun is beating down on you and it feels so refreshing.
As you continue down this path,
You notice there's a path off to the side.
Well,
You're curious now.
You're like,
Where is that taking me?
And because you're in such a good,
Happy place,
You know that is a very safe path to go down.
You know that there is something magical on the other side of this trail.
Now you decide to take the trail and you're still skipping along and just singing and just feeling all of this joy and all of this peacefulness and calmness and love.
It feels as though the sun is beating down on you and you're just soaking up more and more of this amazing gift.
You feel that the love within you is growing and you feel that everything that you have thought about,
Have worried about,
Is just falling away.
This is the happy trail.
The trail that just brings you so much joy because you know that whatever is on the other side of this is going to be so much fun.
As you go down the path a little bit farther,
You look.
And it's your favorite thing to do when you as a child.
Maybe it's a carnival.
Maybe it's riding your bikes.
And you decide you want to join.
And you can hear all this laughter.
So much laughter.
Because you see all the people that have decided to take this path.
You see how you've attracted all of this into your life.
Love and peace and joy and laughter and calmness.
It just feels so amazing.
So happy.
That you feel like you could actually burst because it's just,
It feels like an outer body experience.
Now you decide you want to join this group of people.
Because the laughter is so contagious.
And you know they're having so much fun.
As you walk up you start to notice people are doing,
Riding their bikes.
Some people are doing hula hoops.
Some people are playing hopscotch or marbles.
Everybody has found their favorite thing they enjoy doing as a child.
And now you get to enjoy this.
You get to do your favorite thing that you may have even forgotten that you enjoyed so much.
And it is so much fun to be an adult and to be able to play as a child.
So you go to your favorite thing and you start to play.
And you can feel everybody's love for one another and the joy that they're feeling and it is so contagious.
It's so much fun.
This is the perfect place to be.
Maybe you see your favorite toy.
Maybe you like to play with Barbies or GI Joes or anything that brought you joy.
And it just brings,
Floods back all these amazing memories.
And at this time we're just going to play.
I'm just going to allow you to just play for a few minutes.
To soak in all of the positive energy that's around you.
And now as you continue to play,
You notice some familiar faces.
Maybe people from your childhood.
Maybe people that you have met recently.
And they've all decided to take this journey with you.
And you can sit there and you start telling jokes and laughing.
Because this is so much fun.
And sometimes we forget about this fun playful side of us.
And it is so good to remember.
Such amazing feeling to remember what it felt like to be a child.
And the sun is still shining and it looks as though everybody is radiant.
There's a glow about everyone that you can see.
Because you know that this glow is about you also.
It is surrounding you.
And you're putting all of this energy,
All this love and positive energy into this space.
And the really nice thing is that you know that you can take this back with you.
You know that you can feel this joy and this happiness and this peace and calmness each and every day.
You know that you can play at any time if it's turning on the music and dancing.
Or if it's skipping down a trail or playing a board game and laughing with the people that you love.
You can bring all of this back with you.
This part of you has been awakened.
And you are ready to play.
You are ready to have fun.
Now I want you to wave bye to all of your friends.
Knowing that you can come back to this place at any time.
Know that this is always will be part of you.
And you will even remember things even more and more each day.
The things that really brought you joy as a child.
The things that maybe you didn't enjoy but you wanted to.
You are now able to do that.
You can decide for yourself.
You can decide to have fun and to play and laugh.
To skip and to dance,
To hula hoop,
Whatever that brings you joy.
Now as you go back and you start walking along the path.
You just feel this lightness in your step.
Knowing that you had so much fun.
So much joy and the laughter.
Oh the laughter was so beautiful.
You still feel the sun upon you.
And you feel a light breeze.
This cleansing breeze.
It feels so wonderful.
Now we are going to continue to walk back and we are going to get back on the main path.
But knowing that on each path that you take in life.
May not always be on the main path but it may be on a different path.
But that always on the other end you will find that there is even more joy,
Laughter,
Pleasure.
And that you know now that it is not scary to take another path.
That it is safe to take a different path in life.
Now continue to just walk or skip,
Dance and just enjoy this journey back.
And we are about to come back up.
But just remember that you can go back to this place at any time.
And you can actually start enjoying life even more.
And that you can have more fun and bring the things from your childhood into your daily life.
Now all these feelings are going to be even more intense.
And each time I say zero you just go even deeper.
And each of these impressions are made upon your subconscious mind.
Now we are going to start counting up from zero to five.
And when you come up at five you will be wide awake and you will be feeling amazing and refreshed and energized for your day.
Zero you are starting to come and starting to notice what you are sitting on.
One you start noticing the temperature of the room.
Three your eyes begin to flicker.
You can feel yourself coming up a little more.
Four you are starting to wake up even more.
Five your eyes are open wide awake and you feel amazing.
One two three four five wide awake and you feel great.
One two three four five.
