Hi this is Stefania and this is Wisdom Bits,

Tiny mini podcasts to help you energize and brighten your day in a small amount of time.

Let's talk about how to enjoy Christmas every day.

Today I heard the first Christmas song on the radio.

The first Christmas song of the season.

Maybe it had been playing before but this was the first time that I heard it this season.

But do we really have to wait until December 25th for Christmas?

Is Christmas a day or is Christmas a feeling?

I believe that Christmas is a feeling and so we can have Christmas every day.

We don't have to buy expensive presents.

We can have the feeling of caring for each other and caring for ourselves as the ultimate Christmas gift.

When we wake up in the morning and we look in the mirror at ourselves we're looking at one of the greatest gifts that we could receive.

We're looking at another chance to enjoy the gift of life.

We've been blessed with another day to go out into the world and do something good for others and something good for ourselves.

Even even if we are currently in a situation where we can't go out into the world physically because of lockdown or what have you,

We can reach out mentally.

We can reach out virtually.

We can reach out spiritually just sending out good energy.

We can give ourselves the gift of optimism and a more uplifted positive spirit.

When we start our day listening to the news we've got a choice.

We can be informed and then move on with our day taking precautionary measures,

Precautions as necessary or we can be affected negatively with the mentality that all is wrong instead of all is well.

This can then spill out into our relationships with ourselves and our relationships with others because it's possible that we will not be a hundred percent our best selves because we're covered in a cloak,

A net of negativity,

Of unease and helplessness.

Oh what can I do attitude?

What else can we give ourselves and others?

Maybe as the ultimate Christmas every day gift?

How about the gift of health?

How about moving and exercising every day in ways that are fun and bring the fantastic benefit of building up our immunity and our physical and mental strength?

That would last a lot longer than the gift of a bottle of perfume or something which as an aside is not a bad gift to receive but the gift of health,

The gift of great health is the gift that keeps giving I believe anyhow.

And how about another idea for Christmas every day?

What about the gift of gratitude?

Being thankful for all the wonderful things that we already have in our lives.

We have friends,

We have family,

We have technology that helps expand our world and expand our knowledge,

We have shelter,

Food,

Fresh water on demand,

The list of small everyday things could just go on and on.

But we're often just so busy and I include myself in this,

We're often just so busy that we don't notice.

We just take it for granted that it's there and it'll always be there.

There's more.

And what about these two for Christmas every day?

The gifts of hope and faith.

Hope can be the beginning of faith I think.

Maybe you've got a situation in your life right now that you don't know quite how it's gonna work out but we can hope for the best can't we?

And then take whatever action that we can think of to help things along and move things along while having faith that in the end it is going to work out.

The problem will be solved one way or another and it will be done in a way that helps us and any others involved to grow and move on.

That's also a mental thing isn't it?

The mindset.

Instead of getting all wrapped up in the problem and feeling like you're caught in a net and you can't get out or you can do a struggle and struggle and struggle until you die.

It's a mindset thing too I believe this hope and faith because you know there's an answer and that keeps us going because we're gonna find it or it's gonna find us.

That's what I think anyhow.

Anyhow we can have faith that generally things will get better overall instead of getting stuck in the muck and mire of a gloomy mindset which doesn't help us and it doesn't help anybody else.

It just makes us feel bad.

Let's try to embrace the thought and the feeling and the mindset that things aren't ending.

They're changing,

Growing,

Blossoming and beginning.

So that's our Christmas everyday gift list sorted.

If we just kind of.

.

.

It sounds a bit Pollyannaish to say.

If we just kind of focus on the good it's gonna all work out but if we just focus on the good and look for a way to make it work out,

Be willing to do what we got to do,

Then the positive mindset has a better chance of working and as a result we have a better chance of enjoying the positive lifestyle which we so richly deserve.

We are good people.

The universe has blessed us with a good heart,

With friends or the potential for friends,

Good health or the potential for health.

That's the greatest Christmas gift that we could ever get.

And that's it for today's wisdom bit.

If you'd like to interact more,

Feel free to join our what used to be circles,

I guess now they are groups,

Positive affirmations for everyday life and we also have EFT tapping for everyday life.

Feel free to pop by and investigate and even if you don't,

Many blessings to you.

Stay safe.

Stay happy.
