Hello.
This is Gail Grevoire and I'm going to lead you into a heart meditation.
So find a comfortable position and close your eyes and breathe your body into relaxation by focusing on the breath or whatever other way you have learned to get into a meditative state.
And when you're ready,
Let's settle into our heart chakra by breathing as if the breath were going in and out of the heart.
For some people this will be easy and for others it may feel strained,
But with practice it can become quite simple and easy and deep.
Make sure the tip of your tongue is touching the roof of your mouth on the bridge behind the teeth as this completes an important energy circuit which allows energy to move from the heart up through the crown.
Just keep watching your breath go in and out of the heart center which is in the center of the chest,
Not where the actual heart is,
But in the middle.
As you relax into this breathing pattern,
Become aware of the spaciousness of the heart center.
Good.
If your heart center feels tight or closed off or resistant,
You'll find continued use of this practice will help to open the chakra.
The resistance can be from lack of self love or a protection from a previous hurt.
Sometimes we protect ourselves once we have an experience of rejection or put down or trauma.
But that wall can be dissolved through intention and deep desire to love.
You are created as a being that innately deserves full love.
Love does not have to be earned.
So see if you can induce feelings of love for yourself right here in your heart.
If any thoughts or judgments against yourself arise,
Any criticisms come up,
Just let them fall away.
Don't pursue them.
You do not really know if these judgments,
Which are more or less opinions,
Are true or false.
So let them go.
Intend to embrace your whole self with loving arms.
The truth is you are loved beyond measure by your source.
It is completely possible and natural for you to open yourself up to the flow of divine grace that is always present in the heart chakra.
But to express this grace fully in your life,
You must sit in the heart in silence and let grace wash you of any unconscious beliefs you hold about yourself that would limit its blessing in your life.
Be least like I'm not good enough or grudges held against yourself for mistakes.
So this may take many repeated meditations in the heart chakra to complete.
So let's feel the love in the heart with gratitude that we are held in love by something much greater than ourselves.
Just surrender to this space for the next several minutes.
If you find you do not experience a yielding inward because you have a heart wall or some other strong resistance,
Nevertheless,
Intend to enter,
Ask to enter and stay with the breath and keep your awareness in the heart center.
Ignore any thoughts about doing it wrong or right.
Just to surrender to whatever presents itself each moment,
Relaxing more and more into the breath,
Staying open to love and letting whatever comes up,
Come up.
Stay with theAlmighty.
