Welcome to your 5 minute body reset meditation.
This is your quick reset,
Just 5 minutes to release tension,
Clear your mind and reconnect with your body.
We can start by sitting tall or standing with your feet firmly on the ground.
Close your eyes if it feels comfortable and begin by taking a slow deep breath in through your nose and exhaling with a gentle sigh out of your mouth.
We are going to do this 2 more times and each time letting your shoulders drop a little bit more.
Inhaling deep into your chest and your belly,
Exhaling out of your mouth,
Allowing your shoulders to drop.
One more time,
Taking a slow deep breath in through your nose,
Exhaling with a gentle sigh out of your mouth,
And your shoulders fall a little bit more.
Now bring your awareness to your jaw,
Allowing it to unclench and soften.
Let your tongue rest gently in your mouth,
Bringing your awareness down to your shoulders and imagine them melting down your back,
Gently pulling away from your ears,
Softening,
Surrendering.
Bring your attention to your belly and allow it to rise and fall with your breath.
No holding,
No control,
Just ease as you notice and allow the rise and the fall.
On your next inhale,
Imagine you are filling your body with a calm energy of golden light that is bringing rest and recovery to each and every cell in your body.
On the exhale,
Release anything heavy,
Any stress,
Any tension,
Any worry.
We're going to repeat this cycle a couple of more times,
Inhaling that golden light of calm and peace,
Exhaling and allowing any heaviness to be released fully from your body.
Inhaling again that golden light like a blanket of peace and calm,
Exhaling and releasing any stress,
Any tension,
Any worries.
Take a moment to notice how your body feels now.
Is it lighter?
Is it softer?
Does it feel more at ease?
Allow yourself to anchor into this reset by silently saying to yourself and reminding yourself that my body is my ally.
It is safe and I can return here at any time.
When you are ready,
You can wiggle your fingers and toes.
You can give your earlobes a gentle rub and then open your eyes,
Feeling refreshed and reconnected.
