
Becoming Unstuck

Hello my friends and thank you for joining me in today's meditation.
Today we will focus on where we are stuck and move towards being unstuck.
Oftentimes this is a slow process happening over time.
You don't often even realize it's occurring until we find that suddenly we are standing still,
Stuck either emotionally,
Mentally,
In a situation,
Unsure.
Maybe it's in a relationship,
Maybe it's your work.
It can be anything and this happens to people all of the time.
And it's nothing to hold judgment towards.
It's quite natural for this to occur.
But it is when we notice that we are stuck,
That it's time to get that energy moving,
Propelling us forward,
Evolving and moving towards where we are supposed to be.
So today just start with a nice cleansing breath.
Breathing in through your nose,
Filling your bellies with air and then breathing out through your mouth,
Deflating your belly.
Taking another nice deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your belly with air and then breathing out through your mouth,
Deflating your belly.
And while you continue to breathe in this nice,
Slow,
Deep way,
Know that you are moving forward,
Propelling yourself from being stuck.
And now I would like you to imagine that you are standing on the shore of an ocean.
Notice it is a beautiful,
Sunny,
Warm day and you are right on the edge where the waves are breaking and trickling up to the sand,
Just reaching your feet in a very gentle way.
And that ocean is warm like a bath.
And the sand beneath your feet is saturated and wet and soft.
And it feels good to have that water lapping over your feet.
And just for a moment,
Move your face upwards towards the sun,
Shifting your shoulders back,
Straightening your spine.
And notice the golden warmth of that sun shining down upon you.
And absorb the healing energy of that golden light.
And move backwards just a bit at your waist and allow the rays of that golden light to hit you at your solar plexus chakra.
This is the chakra that lies at your stomach.
This chakra is where you hold all your value for yourself,
Your love for yourself,
And your power.
And allow that chakra to receive the golden energy coming down from the sun,
Getting it moving,
Filling it,
And strengthening it.
And as we proceed with this meditation,
Imagine you are receiving this golden healing energy the entire time.
And now I would like you to focus in your mind where it is you feel you are stuck.
Just notice it.
Do not judge it because it is okay.
There are times in our lives when we're meant to be moving,
And there are times in our life we were meant to stand still,
And both are equal in value.
But you have decided today you want to begin moving again.
So just notice where you've been standing still.
And think for a moment why it is you have been stuck in this situation.
What is the magnet holding you down?
And as you realize what this is,
Move your focus down,
Down to the bottom of your feet which are sitting in that soft,
Wet sand.
And imagine that magnet at the bottom of your feet keeping them there in the sand.
And oftentimes as we begin to stand still in life,
We don't notice.
And there's a gentle movement in time,
Just as the waves are gently lapping over your feet.
And each time a wave moves forward,
A little more sand covers your feet.
And after a number of waves,
Your feet are now buried in the sand.
You can still wiggle your toes because you're not so deep yet,
But you're just at the beginning of feeling stuck.
And notice if there's anything else keeping you stuck,
Then that first reason that you discovered.
For the knowledge of why you're stuck is quite important in helping you move forward.
And as you are noticing this,
The waves are continuing to lap across your feet and the sand is being pushed over you.
And now you are covered in sand above your ankles.
You're a little deeper now.
It's become a little harder to move your toes,
Or so you think.
This is what happens as we are slowly deeper in our situation.
We feel buried like we can't move.
Think of a reason why you have felt buried.
I'll bet as you think of it without judgment,
You will see that it is not a magnet,
That it does not have to hold you still,
That you can release it.
And as we are thinking,
The waves are continuing to lap over our feet,
Pushing the sand over us,
Sinking down deeper and deeper into that wet sand.
And now we are buried up to our calves.
And this represents how it is so easy to become stuck.
How it is perfectly natural,
Just like the rhythm of the waves,
To become stuck.
It's okay.
Because while you are stuck in that sand,
You are also receiving the benefits of standing still,
Of having a rest.
And this is very good too.
Bring your focus back up to your solar plexus and notice that golden energy coming down from the sun hitting you there.
And notice how that part of you is getting stronger.
It's starting to encourage you that it's okay and time to move.
But you're not quite sure how and that is okay.
You could bend down and start to move the sand away from your legs,
Pushing it with your hands.
You could sit down and start wiggling.
You could reach your hand out for someone else on that shore to help you,
Pulling you forward.
There are many ways to get that movement.
But before you do,
I want you to notice something.
I want you to try to wiggle your toes and move your ankles and see what you find in your ability to do this as you are deeper in that sand.
Just notice that for a moment.
And what you have found is that it is quite easy to wiggle those toes and move your ankles.
That that sand is not like cement or glue.
It is soft and it has movement too.
For it is responding to the movement of the waves of the ocean.
Everything moving together.
It is not solid.
It is very soft.
And you are much stronger than it.
In fact,
You are quite powerful.
Just notice a moment how strong your feet feel in that sand.
And now I invite you to take that step from being unstuck.
Move one foot out of the sand.
Noticing how quite easy it is for you to do this.
You are much stronger than it.
You are much stronger than anything that has been holding you back in your situation.
You are powerful.
And you can move whenever you are ready to.
And today you are ready.
Once one foot is out of the sand,
Just a little tug and you can gently pull the other out.
And now you are free.
And there may be still a lot of granules of sand on your legs and ankles and feet and toes.
And that's okay.
That's the leftover work you must do to get yourself moving forward.
But as you can see,
The hardest part is done.
You've started your movement.
You have freed yourself from that one thing that was holding your feet down,
Down in the wet sand.
So just take a few steps towards that ocean.
Just so that you're covered in your calves and gently wipe away all the sand that is left.
It's as easy as that.
The motion of you wiping it away and the motion of the ocean wiping it away.
It's just getting the job all done.
And now you are free to move yourself forward in any direction you like.
Take a look around at that vast beach.
Maybe there's something interesting to you that you see off in the distance.
Maybe that's your new direction.
And you can start walking there anytime you like because now you are free.
You are unstuck.
And as you start walking there,
Just take some nice deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Returning yourself back to where you are sitting in this moment.
Having the knowledge now that you are free,
That you have seen on the horizon where you want to move to.
That you have the strength and the power to begin the movement towards it.
And that you are lovely just as you are.
And just gently take another nice deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your belly with air and breathing out through your mouth,
Deflating your belly.
Whenever you're ready you may gently open your eyes and continue forward in your day.
Moving forward in many ways.

If you love the beach, you’ll love this meditation. Soft, peaceful, effective. Lovely visuals and guided imagery. By the end I really felt free and could feel the energy in my body moving and releasing. Highly recommend!
