Hello my friend.

Today's meditation we are going to focus on feeling calm and doing a little practice where we will be able to experience this peaceful,

Lovely feeling.

So just begin by putting yourself in a nice comfortable position preferably sitting with nothing crossed and take a nice deep breath in through your nose filling your belly with air and breathing out through your mouth deflating your belly and gently allow your eyes to float closed.

For we are going to focus inward today looking inside our bodies to find where that anxious part of us lives.

For many people anxiety can be all-consuming and we perceive it to be at the entire body our entire being but today we're going to find that the truth is it is only one part of our entire selves.

For some this one part just happens to have a very loud voice.

So as your eyes are closed and you are breathing deeply just begin to focus in your body moving all around your body searching and looking for where your anxious part lives.

Take a moment to do this.

It may be anywhere could be in your head your neck or shoulders could be in your heart or chest your stomach even your arms legs hands or feet.

For each one of us will hold this part in a different place and wherever that place is is perfect for you.

So just move around a bit inside your mind looking for that part.

And as you have found it just notice where is living inside your body.

And notice what that area of your body feels like.

It might feel tense it might feel loose.

It might feel big or small heavy or light.

It might be still it might be moving.

Just notice how it feels without judgment just observe it.

And as you're observing how it feels also look at it.

You may be able to see it.

It may have a shape or it might be more cloud-like.

It might be an object that you can recognize.

This can be anything.

And as you're noticing what it looks like also notice if it has a color.

If it is solid or transparent.

Whatever it looks like is perfect for you.

And the most important thing I want you to notice is that your anxious part is just one part.

It is not your whole body.

It is not your whole self.

It is only one part of you.

It is not you.

For you are strong and powerful person who has many parts.

Each one important taking care of you in some way.

And today we are just looking at that anxious part.

And I want you to notice that sitting in front of you I have placed a very large golden bowl.

If you try to pick up this bowl it would be very heavy.

Just leave it there.

This is a very special bowl.

It has healing powers.

Anything placed inside this bowl will be healed and transformed into something more positive and helpful.

It is glistening and shimmering.

It is a beautiful sight to see.

And it is large enough to hold anything placed inside of it.

It also offers protection and safety to anything placed inside of it.

And today we are going to ever so gently and carefully take that anxious part that doesn't feel quite so good.

We are going to hold it in our hands just temporarily removing it from our body.

Telling it as you do so that you will keep it safe.

That it is being placed in a safe protective place.

And gently place it inside the healing bowl.

And as you do remind your anxious part that you will care for it.

That you know that even though sometimes it doesn't make you feel good that in some way somehow it believes and it has been trying to help you in its own way.

You are keeping it safe today.

And together you're going to help one another restore some calm and peace inside of you.

And as you place your anxious part in the bowl I want you to notice way up high above the bowl is a large golden ball of light.

It is a beautiful and powerful thing to see.

And this ball of light is shining down its rays right into the bowl onto your anxious part to help it feel better.

And to help it transform into something that will make you feel calm.

It is healing it.

Everyone is safe and okay as this is occurring.

And as this is occurring you may take a moment to think about how possibly your anxious part has been trying to help you.

Maybe it protects you in some way from another emotion that might be more difficult.

Maybe it feels it's keeping you safe.

Maybe it feels it's helping you notice the world around you to make good decisions.

Maybe it protects you from sadness or fear.

Maybe its role is to provide you with a warning that there's something you need to do.

Whatever it is we must look upon that anxious part as being important and valuable and helping you in some way.

And even though it is receiving healing,

It is only receiving healing and helping you feel calm,

It will still be able to do whatever its job is.

This ever important job that it does for you.

It will still be able to continue to do it even after the healing and perhaps even in a stronger and more powerful way.

But without invoking that unsettled feeling that it gives you.

But rather allowing you to feel calm and peace.

For this is a beautiful thing and this will overall always feel better.

And as you were thinking these thoughts,

Say them to your anxious part.

Show it love for all that it does for you.

Show it appreciation.

If you would like a little extra healing for yourself,

You may hold your hands under the rays of that golden light so it hits you too,

Not just your part.

And do this as a reminder that you are a whole person.

That not one part defines who you are.

That you are part of this beautiful light.

Strong,

Loving and powerful.

Capable of caring for yourself in every way.

And capable of feeling peace and calm and serenity throughout your body in any situation.

And now just look at your anxious part.

It may look the same as when you first met it or it may have transformed in some way.

And just notice what it looks like now.

Whatever has occurred is perfect for you.

The golden light is backing away because the healing has completed.

It's very powerful and doesn't need much time to do its job.

And your anxious part is feeling calm and powerful knowing that it can protect you in an even more wonderful way than ever before.

It is grateful for this healing that it has received today.

And ever so gently and lovingly pick up your anxious part from the ball.

Offering it love and gratitude.

Knowing that it is calmer.

And gently place it back into your body.

It may be where you originally found it.

It may want to go somewhere else.

Wherever it wants to go is perfect for you.

It knows where it belongs inside of you.

For it has lots of wisdom.

And as it moves to its special home inside of you,

Just notice how you feel.

It may feel more comfortable than it did when you originally met it today.

Maybe snuggling in just right.

And the most beautiful part is that you know where it lives now and you know what it looks like.

And when you need its help to feel calm,

You can call upon it and remind it of the healing it had today.

So say a gentle goodbye telling it that you were there for it anytime it needs you.

And notice the calm and peace throughout your entire body.

And remember this beautiful feeling.

And remember that you are capable of this when you need it.

You are perfectly capable of feeling calm.

And just end today's meditation with a nice deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Remembering to breathe in this way anytime you need it.

And go and move forward with your day knowing that you are powerful and can remain calm.

This I will add to my arsenal. I was looking for a way to relieve anxious tension building, and this was what I need. I wanted to eliminate it, but taking the time to thank it for its intention allowed me to lovingly realign it and release it.
