Hello and welcome to this guided meditation for the solar plexus chakra.
Also known as the Manipura chakra.
The solar plexus really is the seat of our identity,
Our ego and our sense of self.
It is the third chakra on the body and it resides just around the belly button,
Our energy centre,
Our seat of self.
It's sometimes regarded as an inner fire.
When there is an imbalance in the solar plexus,
Often we feel that we lack confidence.
We might feel quite impulsive.
We might feel that we are constantly seeking validation from others,
That we're feeling a sense of doubt and anxiety about who we are,
Our decisions,
Our choices that we make.
It's also quite a powerful place in the body for our intuition.
You hear someone refer to gut instinct.
This is usually the seat of that instinct.
So this meditation will be perfect for you if you're looking to bring greater awareness to the solar plexus,
If you're looking to gain some confidence,
Ease some anxiety and nourish that inner flame,
That inner fire that resides within all of us.
So please get comfortable and settle in whether that is sitting upright with your back supported or lying down on a yoga mat or maybe even cosying up in bed ready for sleep.
If you do fall asleep,
Please know that these words will still interact with your subconscious mind and you will still receive everything that comes forward in this guided meditation.
And just beginning,
Once we are comfortable and ready to start this journey,
Beginning to notice our breathing.
Perhaps breathing in slowly through your nose and then gently sighing out the breath,
Noticing that when we do this action of sighing,
Of consciously releasing,
We almost feel ourselves melt.
We feel a little bit more surrender in the body when we just sigh out the breath.
From then on,
Just focusing on breathing in and out of the nose if that is what feels comfortable for you.
And making a conscious effort to breathe deeper into the belly,
Moving away from shallow upper chest,
Accessory muscle breathing and into deeper,
Relaxing and nourishing belly breaths.
Maybe placing a hand on the belly if it helps to focus the attention there.
Seeing how it rises and falls with every inhale and exhale without effort,
Simply with awareness.
And feeling how with every breath your body is relaxing just a little bit more.
Giving yourself permission to really surrender to this moment.
You have obviously found your way here for a reason.
But sometimes the body needs just a little bit of guidance and reassurance that this time is special and it is allowed to rest and be here.
You might also notice that thoughts might be taking up some space right now,
They might be interfering with your decision to rest and do some healing work on yourself.
So whenever those thoughts arise,
Whenever they ask for your attention,
Just imagine that they are floating away.
When you exhale you feel them move from within the body,
Within the mind to outside of the body and outside of the mind.
It doesn't mean that letting go of our thinking is easy,
In fact it can be quite hard and it's important that we acknowledge that meditation is called a practice for a reason.
It is something that we work on,
Work with and some days are hard and some days are easy.
So just know that however you are showing up today is welcome and deserving of this time.
Bringing it back to the breath,
Deepening and lengthening that exhale as much as possible.
And in your mind's eye just beginning to imagine a beautiful bright yellow light directly above or within the body around the belly button.
Now you might be seeing this light as this big bright orb,
You might even be able to feel the heat from that inner fire,
That is the solar plexus,
But it also might feel like this light is quite dim at the moment and that's okay too.
And this light isn't always shining very brightly,
Sometimes we need to help build up that inner fire,
We need to add some fuel to the flames and so as you breathe into your belly,
Imagining that when the belly rises this yellow bright light grows with that breath.
It never shrinks,
It only grows with your conscious awareness and your breathing.
As you inhale and you feel this beautiful yellow light,
When you exhale you're going to let go of doubt,
We're going to inhale trust,
We're going to exhale fear,
We're going to inhale confidence.
Feeling that fire grow and grow,
Affirming I understand myself.
I am deeply connected to myself and my inner fire.
I am confident,
I am strong.
I am confident.
I am motivated.
I follow my destiny.
I respect myself.
I stand up for what I believe in.
My ideas and creations matter.
I nourish my inner fire and my solar plexus by believing in myself and my capabilities.
And as we affirm these beautiful messages and we really comprehend this bright yellow light over or within our solar plexus,
We are softening all the edges of any imbalances,
Letting go of our ego and allowing intuition and trust to come to the surface.
And we can always reconnect with the power that resides within the solar plexus by just placing a hand on our belly,
By connecting to our breathing,
By wearing yellow colours,
Or maybe by using the mantra Ram.
This mantra has a beautiful resonance that's quite powerful.
We use it very intentionally in meditation.
Ram.
Maybe making that sound for yourself to see how it feels.
Taking a deep breath before and after.
Ram.
The meaning of this powerful mantra can be translated in several ways.
One definition is the essence of who you are when you realise your true self.
We use this mantra as a level of devotion and a commitment to that divine inner wisdom that resides within all of us.
And so we begin after doing this beautiful activation work to bring that light back to about the size of a tennis ball.
We aren't dimming the light,
We're merely balancing its energies and allowing it to become one with the body again.
And we bring that ball of energy,
That beautiful yellow light into the body and we can feel its warmth residing there.
And just taking a few deep breaths to solidify the connection to this space.
To allow the healing work that you have undertaken to really settle and integrate with the energetic body through a few breaths.
Right Official and just bringing our awareness once we're ready back to the physical body by wiggling the toes wiggling the fingertips and maybe just staying put for a little while or settling down to sleep if it's the right time to do so making sure we feel back in our body before we stand up again maybe allowing for some movement rolling of the shoulders gentle twist in the spine and then hopefully carrying this beautiful inner fire with you everywhere you go speaking with confidence trusting your inner voice and staying deeply connected to this sacred center of self thank you so much for being here today i hope to see you next time many blessings and take care
