Hello and welcome to today's meditation.
Today you are going to experience complete relaxation of the mind and body,
Bringing you to a deep state of inner peace and calm.
It's so important for us to completely relax,
To let go and to drop into this space.
So close your eyes and start to bring your attention inwards now.
This is time just for you.
Time to completely relax and unwind.
Time to let your mind soften and catch up with your body.
And you deserve this time.
So don't let yourself worry about anything else right now.
Just relax.
Take a deep breath in and exhale slowly.
And again breathe in deeply and exhale slowly.
And again breathe in and breathe out.
Feel your breath gently moving through your body like a wave in motion.
Allow any thoughts or distractions to leave you now and just focus your awareness on your breathing.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Relax.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Enjoying this sensation.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Inviting feelings of peace and acceptance.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Now allow your breathing to fall into a natural and comfortable rhythm.
Notice your body.
Notice now how you are sitting or lying.
Notice any areas of tension in your body and allow,
Intend these areas to relax deeper and deeper with each breath,
With each passing moment.
Bring your awareness to the top of your head and feel or imagine a peaceful sensation.
A warm relaxing sensation flowing down over your scalp,
Relaxing your forehead and your temples.
Feel your eye muscles release and allow your eyes to sink deep into their sockets.
Now this peaceful sensation flows down your face,
Relaxing your cheeks and your jaw,
Releasing any tension in these areas.
Flowing down over your throat and your neck and down your shoulders.
Letting go of any tension and tightness in your shoulders.
Letting go of any burden or weight or responsibility.
Relax.
Relax your shoulders.
Let go.
Let go of stress.
Let go of tension.
Let go of any thoughts or distractions.
Relax.
And as it flows down your body,
This relaxing feeling becomes deeper and warmer.
It works its way across your chest and abdomen,
Soothing every muscle and relaxing every organ.
And then moving across to your back,
Feel every muscle in your back become loose and limp and relaxed as this peaceful sensation flows all the way down your spine.
And now your arms.
Relax your arms and your arms become very heavy and relaxed from the top of your shoulders all the way down to the tips of your fingers.
Relax.
Let go.
And notice now how your whole upper body is loose and limp and relaxed.
And this peaceful sensation begins to work its way down through your lower body now,
Relaxing your hips and your pelvis,
Letting go of any tension or tightness or even emotions stored in this area.
Relax your buttocks.
Relax your thighs,
Both the front of your thighs and the back of your thighs as you become more and more relaxed with each passing moment and feel this relaxing sensation now flow down both legs.
And feel your legs become heavier and more and more relaxed and comfortable,
Relaxing all the way down from the top of your hips down to the tips of your toes.
And notice now how your entire lower body is loose and limp and relaxed.
And if there are any remaining areas of tension in your body,
Simply breathe into these areas and allow and intend for them to relax completely.
Let go.
Relax.
It is safe to do so.
And as your body relaxes,
Your mind relaxes also.
Take this time to rest now.
Relax.
And slowly start to bring your awareness back to your breath now,
Breathing in deeply and calmly and breathing out slowly and effortlessly.
And then bring your awareness back to your body,
Back to the room in which you are in and whenever you're ready.
Beginning to slowly open your eyes now,
Taking a nice big deep stretch.
