So good morning.
Welcome to your practice.
Take your seat.
With dignity.
The mornings.
Offer such evidence of the changing seasons.
Is indisputable.
Each morning as we wait.
That there is a turning,
A shifting,
A changing.
A chapter ending and something new beginning.
Perhaps we take a moment just to notice.
Our relationship with that.
How it makes us feel.
How we respond.
Perhaps.
A flavor of grief.
For what is ending.
Perhaps this spaciousness of potential for what is beginning.
Or maybe it's different for you.
The air feels different.
The land.
How's the difference?
Scent.
What else do you notice?
That is changing.
And as your witness.
What is changing?
Who is it that is witnessing?
Where do you witness from?
If change is unfolding.
Then in order in order to witness the change,
There must be something unchanging.
Something steady.
Stable Dependable.
That can witness the changes.
I wonder where that part of you is.
I like to call it the part of you that knows.
The part of me that knows.
The Commitness.
And experience the fluctuations.
The comings and the goings,
The good and the bad.
The joy and the sorrow.
Feels it all but is unchanged.
Remains witness.
Remain steady.
We can turn our awareness toward our breath.
Breathing in.
And breathing out without it needing to be a certain shape or texture.
As your body expands with the inhale.
And contracts with the exhale.
The pulse of change moves through you physically.
And you are able to witness that.
Perhaps our practice is simply to connect with the part that knows.
And to witness and allow.
Fluctuations.
Of our experience.
Coming towards the close of the practice.
Perhaps a deepening of breath.
Touching into heart space as we offer the fruits for our practice.
To ourselves.
To each other.
And to all beings.
Thank you so much for sharing your practice.
Namaste.
