We'll use the breath to focus energy in various spaces,
Places of the body for self-healing.
As we heal ourselves,
We heal the world.
As we love ourselves and respect ourselves,
We learn to love and respect others.
As we learn to respect our body,
We can give it the space for rest,
Regeneration,
And healing.
We will begin this practice with a series of sound sweeps,
Where I will play through a scale on the bowls.
As I play through these scale sweeps on the bowls,
Find an area where you want to focus your attention.
This may be a sore muscle or a pain in the body.
Perhaps you want to focus on a good feeling within your body.
Find a sound within this sweep,
The sound of a bowl,
That seems to resonate with this area.
Feel the sound in this area.
As you feel the sound,
Breathe into this area.
Imagine yourself breathing in and out of this space on the body.
Simply allow your focus,
The focus of the sound and the deep breath to rest there.
Do not try to change anything with your conscious mind.
Simply allow your focus to rest in this space.
Allow your awareness to rest here.
