If you're watching this,
You most likely have a strong inner critic.
You judge yourself a lot.
Maybe there's some insecurity,
Some shame.
Some lack of confidence.
And this inner judgment inter inner judgmental voice.
Is creating a lot of suffering in your life.
Now,
Before I.
.
.
Give you some tips or tools on how to deal with that inner critical voice.
Let me tell you a little bit about me because you might look at me and say,
She's beautiful.
She's confident.
What does she know?
Now I've not always been this confident and I have not loved myself.
On the contrary.
When I grew up.
I felt very bad about myself very early.
And when I was 14,
I was already on my first diet because I felt fat and ugly.
Fat and ugly was ingrained in every pore of my body.
Now looking back,
It feels very foreign because I've done a lot of work over the last few decades and I've been dedicated to help women to feel good about themselves.
So my mess is my message.
I had a killer critic.
Mercilessly criticizing me day in,
Day out.
It's a voice that was created early on in your life.
Ultimately actually to protect yourself.
In a flawed logic kind of way.
But the psyche creates.
Learn from voices around you and it's not even often necessarily the words your surrounding is using.
My parents never said to me directly,
You are fat and ugly.
Never.
But my perception of myself,
How I perceive the world.
And the lack of connection and my needs not being met the way they were supposed to.
Made me feel this way.
I'm not good enough.
Something is wrong with me.
Something is wrong with me.
I'm not good enough.
I'm unlovable.
And in some way over the years it created this I'm fat and ugly.
Through my pain and suffering,
I.
.
.
Move to food.
Emotional eating,
Binge eating.
Substitute for many things,
The soothing mechanism,
I developed an addictive personality around food.
That also created body gain and weight gain.
So shame around my body.
All this pain led me at some point to work on myself because I knew I didn't want to live that way.
I hated myself.
I hated my body.
And I knew either I learn how to love myself or I literally die because I was in very,
Very dark places at times.
So me being here,
Talking to you.
I am with you if you feel the pain,
If you feel the despair,
If you judge yourself mercilessly and you don't even know how to love yourself.
And let me tell you one other thing,
It's not going to shift overnight.
And it's not even going to shift in a week,
But it will shift.
If you dedicate yourself to it.
If you set the intention to love yourself.
If you dig deeper into the patterns,
The beliefs,
The energetic blocks that keep you from seeing who you are,
This beautiful,
Beautiful being.
In this body,
Lovable,
You are lovable,
You are loving.
I don't know you?
Personally.
But I know.
Because you are just the same.
And you are in a collective.
Reprogramming.
Countless women in the world that feel the same.
You are not alone.
And there is a pathway to loving yourself,
To quieting the inner critic.
It's not going to happen in this video.
It takes work,
It takes dedication.
The purpose of this video is to give you a sense that number one,
You're not alone.
Number two,
It's possible.
I didn't even know,
I didn't even believe it was possible for me to love myself.
I had no concept.
How that could even look like.
But I knew I had to,
I was driven,
I was so driven.
Back then I didn't even know,
I didn't even know what was driving me.
Over the decades and over the years.
Shedding off the layers and patterns and truly reconnecting to who I am beyond all of that and to reconnect to the beautiful soul that I am.
I live and breathe it every day.
And I am dedicated and passionate about helping.
Women like you.
To feel.
Get a glimpse or maybe a bit of hope.
That it is possible for you,
That you can love yourself.
And I invite you for today.
Take a deep breath.
Take a deep breath and just hold,
There's a microphone,
Hold yourself for a moment.
There's another video that I have,
Holding yourself in self-love,
But this is different.
This is,
I want to pour into you.
I want to plant a seed.
I want to plant the seed into your body,
Into your mind,
Into your soul,
That you are lovable,
That you are worthy.
No matter what you feel,
That you are lovable even when you don't feel worthy.
That you are good enough,
So beyond good enough.
Even in your pain,
In your struggles,
On your journey,
You are good enough.
You are beautiful.
You are lovable.
And I know that you might not feel this way,
So it might not truly land,
But some part of you is hearing me.
Some part of you knows this is the truth.
Some part of you know.
Cause you remember.
You don't need to.
Create something new.
You get to remember.
You get to peel off the layers.
It's like you're a diamond in the rough.
You've been covered with mud.
Going through storms.
On your journey of this experience of being a human being and you're peeling off the layers.
And I am.
Talking to the part in you that still remembers,
That brought you to this video.
That is driving you to keep doing the work.
You are lovable.
You are beautiful,
You are a magnificent being of existence,
A soul in a body.
And you deserve all the happiness in the world.
And I know it's not easy.
I know it's not going to go overnight or work overnight.
I know this because I've done it.
So I'm not gonna pretend it's easy because it's not easy.
It's hard work and the most rewarding work.
Because you are the most important person in your life.
You get to love yourself.
You get to love yourself.
And from that light within,
You bring this into every room.
You show up.
So I invite you.
To not only remember whatever you can remember right now,
Choose everyday moments,
Chin up,
Chest out,
Love life.
For yourself,
Even if it's just for a moment.
And do the work that's needed for you in order to continue the path.
Because you are here for a reason.
And in the darkest moments.
When you feel lost and ashamed.
There is hope.
There is light.
There is a doorway to freedom.
And so it be,
And may be freedom,
Love,
And compassion be with you for the rest of the day and for the rest of your life.
Much love.
