A while back in one of my Soul-Infused Monday shows,
I taught a short word exercise that can shift your energy quickly in a fun way.
It's the ABC exercise.
Simple but powerful.
And it's one of the easiest ways to shift your energy anytime,
Anywhere,
Even in moments of overwhelm,
Anxiety,
Or self-doubt.
Here's how it works.
For each letter of the alphabet,
You come up with one uplifting,
Empowering word.
Something that feels good in your system.
Something that feels great to you.
For example,
A could be alive,
Amazing,
Adorable.
B as in bright,
Brilliant,
Brave.
C like clear,
Calm,
Courageous,
And so on.
You can write them down,
You can say them out loud,
Or even do it internally.
What matters most is that you feel the energy of the word in your body,
Not just think about it.
When you tune into the vibration of these words,
Especially when you're stressed,
It gives you a little break and shifts your internal state.
I remember using this in 2016 while training for a health marathon and it completely changed my experience in the moment.
So try it out.
It only takes a minute.
Pick one word per letter,
Or even just a few letters,
Or even just one word.
But the biggest fun is when you do the alphabet.
It doesn't have to be perfect.
