One kind thought toward yourself.

If in a safe place,

Close your eyes and bring to mind a single kind thought about yourself.

It doesn't have to be grand.

It might be as simple as,

I showed up today,

Or I cared,

Or I tried and did it.

Hold that thought gently,

As if placing it in a bowl of light.

Let it warm you from the inside out.

One kind thought is enough to shift your entire day,

To soften the edges,

To remind you that strength grows from compassion.
