Breathing through the noise,
With awareness,
And as we exhale we let go of tensions,
Frustrations,
Pressures,
Expectations that we place on ourselves or that may be felt from others,
And as we continue to breathe in this way,
You notice with each cycle of breath that you are feeling lighter and you experience the calmness of the quiet self.
So continue quietly breathing,
Feeling yourself drop more deeply into a state of grace.
You feel peaceful and there is a smoothness even to the energy within you.
As if you are on autopilot and the body is returning to its natural state of harmony.
You are invited now to visualize yourself as if lying on your back under a large tree.
The breeze is warm and soft,
You may feel it gently brushing your cheeks and you feel the sturdiness of the earth beneath you.
The softness of the blades of grass under your hands and in this moment as you visualize this,
You become aware of your connection again to earth,
To the mother as many call her.
You feel as if energy drops out through your back,
Through the back of your legs,
Through the back of your head,
And the head may feel as if it's doing a mental dump of all that you do not need,
Thoughts,
Analysis,
Planning.
You feel all of this melting into the earth,
You don't need it now.
If your own mind is having a very deep sigh,
Letting go and as you look up you see the clouds slowly dancing in the sky.
They're moving but you're not.
Your attention falls inward,
Right into that center of your being.
If there is a reverberation of calm energy swirling around,
You feel comfort,
Peace and stillness.
And should your mind start up,
Come back to the energy that you know is swirling within you,
Feel deeper into your cells also vibrating like you are on autopilot and they also feel into this peace,
This quiet and this stillness.
Those particles of energy also find themselves very slowly winding down,
Slowing down until they stop and nestle into a comfortable position.
And you allow yourself to do the same,
To slow down until you reach that same quiet cessation,
Nestling into yourself,
Preparing for a deep and relaxing sleep.
You notice your breath is slower and deeper,
Preparing also for sleep.
And you feel yourself drifting now,
Finding peace in your slumber.
May your rest be deep in your dreams,
Sweet.
