Before we begin the meditation,
Sit comfortably in your chair,
Eyes closed,
And begin to experiment with your energetic feel.
Sit quietly and tune in,
Imagining that you can easily experience it.
Notice how it feels or looks to your inner eye,
The qualities and characteristics it has.
Now focus your awareness on the healing flow of your natural breathing rhythm.
Sit with your breath,
Allowing it to take you deeper within,
Opening slowly and gently to the inner peace and balance that are always present just beneath the surface of our awareness.
From this place of balance,
Bring into your consciousness an experience that feels negative to you,
And as you feel the emotions around it,
Become aware of the vibration that each one holds.
Just sit with them and feel whether they are constricted or expanded.
Begin to play with identifying the energy held behind your thoughts,
Feeling the constriction and awareness.
Bring into your awareness an experience that brought you joy,
Happiness,
Or fulfillment and drop into it.
Immerse yourself and feel the expansion of the energy,
The lightness,
And flow that are associated with expansion.
Bring into your conscious thought something or someone that you love or a way of being that inspires you and begin to feel the energetic vibration that lies just behind your gratitude,
Again noticing how it affects your energetic feel.
When you are ready,
Open your eyes and return to the room.
