This Meditation is a mindfulness practice that involves focusing your attention on different parts of your body while lying down. It aims to release any physical or emotional tension that may be stored in the body. By scanning the body from head to toe and noticing any areas of tension or discomfort, you can learn to release the tension through deep breathing and relaxation. This practice can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, and promote a greater sense of well-being.

Transcript

Begin by laying down on a comfortable surface,

Such as a yoga mat or bed.

Slowly close your eyes and take a few deep breaths,

Inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Bring your attention to your body.

Starting with your toes,

Scan up your body and notice any areas of tension or discomfort.

As you notice each area,

Take a deep breath in and exhale slowly.

Allowing the tension to release.

Continue to scan up your body,

Moving from your feet to your legs,

Hips,

Torso,

Arms,

And head.

Allow yourself to release any tension or anxiety that you may be holding in your body.

When you reach the top of your head,

Take a few more deep breaths and then slowly open your eyes.

Take a moment to notice how you feel.

Carry this sense of relaxation with you as you go about your day.

Namaste.
