Let us begin our guided meditation to draw intuitive guidance by assuming our meditative postures.
Your spine is straight but relaxed.
If you're sitting on the floor,
Your knees are on the floor.
Your posture is stable.
If you need,
Take the help of any cushion to support your body.
Your hands are on your thighs,
Upturned,
Preferably at the juncture of thighs and abdomen.
Your chest is expanded,
Shoulder blades are drawn back together,
And yet all parts of your body are completely relaxed.
The neck is parallel,
The chin is parallel to the floor,
The neck resting gently on the shoulders,
Eyes closed and gaze uplifted behind closed eyes.
Make sure your posture is so comfortable that you can forget about the body completely.
Intuition blossoms when we can raise our energy,
Our consciousness to the superconscious state and stillness of the body is the first step towards that.
And now that the body is still,
That is still the mind,
Using the breath,
Using the simple pranayama of even count breathing,
We will hold,
Inhale,
Hold and exhale for the same count.
And as we hold the breath,
We will gaze up at the point between the eyebrows.
We practice for a count of six and let's practice the first two rounds together.
Let us inhale,
Hold the breath,
Exhale,
Inhale,
Hold the breath,
Exhale.
And now practice three or four more rounds at your own pace.
Even count breathing helps to harmonize the breath with the mind,
Taking you into a deeper state of stillness,
Balancing your breath,
Your energy,
Rooting you in the present moment.
And now let us stop the practice of even count breathing by taking a deep inhalation through the nose and three short exhalations through the nose and mouth.
And now bring your awareness to the heart chakra,
The point behind the physical heart.
Draw your shoulder blades together several times by tensing and relaxing the area of the back behind the heart.
Try to feel the energy at the heart center,
A sense of warmth.
And by drawing our shoulder blades back,
We are trying to stimulate the energy to feel that prana at the anahata chakra.
After you have expanded the chest and tensed and relaxed for a few times to sit still and visualize a great sphere of light expanding outward from the area of your heart.
Feel the sphere encompassing everything around you.
It encircles your body,
Fills it with light.
And now the sphere is expanding to cover the whole room,
Filling it with light and energy.
The sphere now expands to fill your neighborhood,
Expanding quickly.
Now beyond your neighborhood,
Covering the whole city,
The whole country,
And eventually encircling our whole planet.
Try to feel that everyone and everything is bathed in this light.
Sit quietly and keeping your body relaxed,
Try to feel an actual sensation of warmth or energy in the heart center.
Feel that the center is now activated.
And now bring your attention to the ajna chakra,
The point between the eyebrows.
Knit your brows together several times to stimulate the energy there.
As you start to become more aware of the energy at the ajna chakra,
Concentrate now on projecting a beam of light from this point,
Like the light coming from the projection booth in a movie theater.
And feel this beam moving outward through space with great power,
Driving away all shadows of pain and sorrow.
Use your willpower to send this light further and further into space.
The spiritual eye is the broadcasting station from where you send out your prayer to the universe.
And the heart is the receiving station.
Feel that you are strengthening your broadcasting power by sending this beam of light,
Concentrating there.
And now relax and feel a radiant center of light and energy at the point between the eyebrows.
And now in this state of calmness,
When you have activated and stimulated the heart center and the spiritual eye,
Let us now practice this affirmation together.
First,
Repeat after me energetically in a loud voice.
I hold my thoughts up to the calmness within.
In calmness,
I receive inspiration from my higher self.
I hold my thoughts up to the calmness within.
In calmness,
I receive inspiration from my higher self.
And now in a whisper,
Taking it deeper,
I hold my thoughts up to the calmness within.
In calmness,
I receive inspiration from my higher self.
I hold my thoughts up to the calmness within.
In calmness,
I receive inspiration from my higher self.
And now repeat this affirmation mentally as I say it out loud for you.
I hold my thoughts up to the calmness within.
In calmness,
I receive inspiration from my higher self.
I hold my thoughts up to the calmness within.
In calmness,
I receive inspiration from my higher self.
I hold my thoughts up to the calmness within.
In calmness,
I receive inspiration from my higher self.
Feel that you really mean this affirmation.
And just sit still and quiet,
Your gaze uplifted to the point between the eyebrows.
And now bring your situation,
Your problem that you want guidance for,
Bring it to your mind at the spiritual eye.
Focus at that point and visualize yourself in that situation with neutral emotions and complete openness.
Ask for guidance.
Send out your question just like that beam of light from your broadcasting station from the spiritual eye.
Send it out with energy,
With concentration,
But with relaxation.
See yourself and the situation flooded with light and clarity.
And if you want to continue this,
You can do it for a longer time or you can bring your awareness now to the heart chakra and see if an answer is coming in.
Be completely open to whatever comes without likes or dislikes or judgment or prejudice.
Whatever comes of itself,
Let it come.
The answer may come as a mental picture or an idea or a feeling in the heart.
However it comes,
Just accept it.
And if you feel to at any point,
You can gently open your eyes and write down your impressions You can gently open your eyes and write down your impressions or just enjoy the feeling of being in this state of calmness,
Of joy,
Of clarity,
Of tuning into the guidance from God,
From your own higher self.
You may wish to continue this practice longer,
Perhaps broadcast your question once again with greater concentration and try to listen through the heart.
Intuition is not a one-time practice,
But a constant practice of listening,
Of asking,
And of listening and asking again.
So for now,
Let us end this meditation by chanting Aum together.
Aum,
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
