Hopefully,
We all agree that slavery is a bad thing.
Anger is self-enslavement because it grips our emotions and manipulates our behavior.
It is a relentless adversary that cannot be defeated by playing the blame game in external circumstances or individuals.
Anger is a vicious habit,
Buried deep within our souls,
Devouring our thoughts and happiness like an insatiable addiction.
We must be resolute in our efforts to break free from its clutches,
For this is a battle we cannot afford to lose.
But there is hope.
It is possible to get rid of this burden.
In this meditation,
I present techniques that I have personally found effective,
So I urge you to approach this journey with patience and dedication.
Allow yourself time and space to engage fully with this practice.
Commit to staying with the meditation for 21 days,
Consistently using the techniques provided.
With this meditation,
You won't just find temporary relief,
You will achieve a profound transformation.
Let's focus on your breathing.
Inhale slowly to the count of four.
Hold that breath for a count of four.
Then exhale smoothly to the count of six.
Continue this rhythmic breathing,
Feeling each breath deepen your state of relaxation.
As you become more relaxed,
Imagine each exhale releasing all your anger and stress and each inhale bringing a deeper sense of peace.
Allow yourself to sink into the rhythm,
Your mind becoming more tranquil with each breath.
Close your eyes and envision three magic pills labeled peace,
Love and patience resting on your open palm.
Take a deep breath and swallow each one,
Feeling their warmth spread throughout your body.
With each breath,
Inhale the essence of these qualities and feel them permeating your being and be filled with a sense of calmness,
Love and patience.
Take a moment to focus on forgiveness.
Bring to mind a specific instance where you felt anger towards someone.
Instead of reliving that hurt,
Shift your attention to forgiving that person.
I forgive,
I forgive,
I forgive.
Forgiveness is a powerful tool for releasing anger and transforming your inner self.
See yourself as a kind person.
With each breath,
See yourself in this new light.
See yourself as one with a calm mind and a forgiving heart.
Now reflect on your own triggers for anger.
Ask yourself,
Why do I get angry?
Answer this question thoughtfully without pointing fingers.
Realize that the habit of getting angry is like any other addiction.
It can follow you through life unless you consciously choose to change it.
As you contemplate these thoughts,
Acknowledge that change takes time and patience.
Commit to yourself.
If you feel anger rising in any situation,
Remember that you have the power to remove yourself from it until you can respond calmly.
Embrace this journey of self-discovery and growth,
Knowing that with each step,
You choose peace and understanding over anger and resentment.
Silently talk to yourself.
Every day,
I give myself the gift of acceptance.
With this powerful tool,
I'm free from the weight of anger and able to flow in harmony with the world around me.
I recognize that sometimes my expectations and demands can be unrealistic.
So I practice releasing anger by allowing others to be who they are.
I accept that every person must find their own way and walk their own path.
When we surrender to this truth,
We can release anger and allow each person to be exactly where they need to be in this moment.
With each breath,
Tell yourself,
I embrace the beauty and diversity of humanity,
Knowing that we are all on our own journeys toward growth and understanding.
With acceptance as my guide,
I am filled with peace and compassion for myself and others.
Take a deep breath and turn your thoughts toward God.
Now imagine your anger as a dark cloud.
Remember this cloud to God and feel the weight being lifted from you.
In its place,
Imagine a light of love and peace filling you up.
Envision yourself surrounded by God's magnificent presence.
In this presence,
Release any negative thoughts or feelings toward others and focus on maintaining good feelings and thoughts about the divine.
Visualize yourself dancing freely without the weight of anger,
Feeling light and joyful.
Now take a deep breath and silently say to yourself,
I let go of my need for control.
Imagine feeling it deeply,
I let go of my need for control.
Take a few moments and commit to nurturing and awakening your true spiritual self.
As you enter a calm sanctuary with your mind,
Let yourself completely relax and let go of all tensions and stress.
Your purpose in life is to share the gifts of peace and love with the world.
Starting with yourself in this moment,
Take another deep breath in and as you exhale,
Release any remaining negative emotions and embrace the peace within you.
With conviction,
Say to yourself,
I give myself the gift of acceptance for both others and myself.
Even when faced with negative energy,
I have the power to remain peaceful and stay rooted in my own dignity.
No one can diminish my inner beauty.
Remind yourself,
True change starts within me.
By prioritizing my own growth and transformation,
Harmony will naturally flow into my life.
With each breath,
I release any lingering negativity and allow love and compassion to fill my heart and mind.
I am at peace with myself and the world around me.
As you finish your meditation,
Take a few deep breaths.
Gently focus your attention on the here and now,
Feeling renewed and committed to this new path of peace,
Love and patience.
Be these qualities with you throughout your day,
Confident in your ability to transform your inner world and by extension,
Your outer reality.
Om Shanti I am Peace.
