A meditation on self-love.
Let's begin by finding a calm and restful space to sit comfortably.
Partially lower your eyes and rest your gaze on a spot on the floor.
It could be a corner of a table leg or a smudge on the floor.
Just gently rest your gaze,
Take a slow deep breath and let it out gently,
Releasing any tension as you settle into stillness.
Now envision yourself standing beside a serene and clear pool of water.
This pool is a special place because it reflects your inner self and the waters are as still as glass,
Mirroring the sky above.
Keep breathing in and out gently,
Allowing your breath to relax you.
Take a moment now and look at your reflection in the pool.
As you gaze into the pool,
Allow yourself to move beyond the physical reflection on the surface,
Look deeper beneath the water and discover the true essence of who you are.
You are not merely the body that stands on the edge of the pool,
You are the soul that shines from within,
The life force of the body.
Radiant and full of love,
Peace and divinity,
Reach out and touch the surface of the water,
Sending a ripple across the pool.
With this touch,
Affirm to yourself,
I am a soul.
My original nature is love,
Peace and divinity.

Feel a deep regard for who you truly are,
Acknowledging and admiring your spiritual nature.
Speak to yourself with kindness and compassion,
As you would to a beloved child.
Imagine their innocence and joy and reflect those feelings back to yourself.
While looking at your true self in the pool,
Whisper to yourself,
I am a soul.
I am precious.
I am innocent.
I am like a beautiful,
Fragrant flower.
Again,
Seeing yourself,
Loving yourself and feeling yourself.
I am a soul.
I am precious.
I am like a beautiful,
Fragrant flower.
I am innocent.
As these words travel across the water,
See rays of care and peace showering down upon you.
Remember your true nature and let these rays penetrate the depths of you,
The soul.
Tell yourself,
I care deeply about my original self,
The real self.
That exists beyond this material body.
Maintain this vision of respect and nurturing care and recognize how truly precious you are.
Continue to pour thoughts filled with respect and love into your heart.

Feel the words as they enter,
Warming and soothing your innermost self.

Take a few more slow,
Deep inhalations and exhalations.
With each breath,

As you gaze at your reflection in the tranquil pool,
See not just your physical form,
