Explore MeditationSherri Staples is a yoga teacher, reiki practitioner and holistic health coach with over 12 years of experience. Her existing business, the Peaceful Living Project, supports women with high levels of anxiety and stress to find calm in their body, mind and space. Sherri offers customized, 1:1 programs that combine wellness coaching, restorative yoga, trauma healing modalities, and home organization. However, Sherri's latest passion project (coming soon!) is an online group program that provides coaching and guidance to those who have experienced spiritual crises or emergencies; that is, those whose spiritual experiences and awakenings have generated more pain, dissociation, trauma, and anxiety than connection and peace. These include kundalini awakenings and Ayahuasca and other plant medicine journeys. While Sherri has several certifications, life has been her greatest teacher and trainer. She is a survivor of complex trauma and a near-death kundalini awakening that led to "psychosis" and left her hospitalized, medicated, and deeply anxious. Her journey to recover from that experience and to ground, embody, and heal her anxiety and trauma informs her new program. She is passionate about supporting others to ground, embody, and heal from trauma and anxiety. Sherri is excited to share meditations, talks, lives, and courses on Insight Timer and looks forward to connecting with as many community members as possible!
