Meditation Timer OnlineShelley Shadow became familiar with breath and body work through her yoga practice. Taking an interest in mindfulness meditation, she took the 8-week course offered through Brown University, then began training and mentoring under Kevin Diakiw of Still Here Mindfulness. In response to the needs of people suffering the stress of the pandemic, they began a daily mindfulness meditation via zoom and she now leads meditations several mornings a week. In addition, she co-teaches the 8-week MBSR course through Still Here. Through this practice, she has deepened her knowledge of herself, become more present and grounded, as well as connected intuitively with her Cree Indigenous ancestry.
