Join me as we dive into the inner wellsprings of your heart,
Breathing in deeply,
Connecting with your breath,
Your heart,
Your body,
Closing your eyes as we take this journey into the desert which holds the answers you seek.
May the fires of your passion ignite and inspire you.
The flames inside grow bright as we reach the threshold,
Moving into this journey together.
Imagine yourself stepping through the flame and finding yourself upon a desert landscape,
Dry and cracked,
The land beneath your feet waiting for rain.
You begin to walk the open land,
Each footstep tracing the lines open in the earth.
At first they look like cracks,
Broken and open,
Edges peeled back,
And yet soon you discover that they aren't cracks at all,
But doorways leading to the places inside yourself.
These places inside of you that hold the answers that you seek.
These places that hold the undiscovered treasure buried underneath.
The edges of the desert feel the wind that whips across them and lays in wait for rain to fall.
Knowing there is buried treasure here,
Your heart dares to delight in the excitement of your future full of possibilities.
This excitement that dares you to become more than you believed you could.
Take this journey with me now.
You look up and see the desert where the lines in the sand converge into a single point.
You begin to walk in this direction.
A lizard green and gold,
Scale shimmering,
Crosses your path and stops.
He tilts his head up,
Your eyes meet.
Not just a lizard,
But an ancient one who knows this land.
He spins,
Tail whipping,
His toes scratching the earth.
You watch and wait for him to finish.
He looks up at you once more and scurries off in the distance.
And when you look back down,
You see in the ground that he has scratched the image of an arrow in the sand.
An arrow pointing north.
The arrow that matches the point where all the lines of yourself converge into the deepest part of you.
You continue to walk north,
Stepping farther into the truth of who you are on this earth.
And the closer you get,
The more the sky which was once clear now begins to gather clouds in the sky.
First rolling and white and then puffing up and converging together.
The closer you get to the depth of yourself,
The more the clouds accumulate rain and the underbellies turn dark with the promise of water.
A crack of thunder explodes in the air around you and the electricity fills the sky.
Lightning streaking,
The excitement builds in the air.
The static electricity matching the excitement in your body of your true self revealed.
Another crack of thunder and the rain begins to fall at first lightly from the sky.
You stop and turn your head upward,
Closing your eyes and smelling the rain.
The wet earth,
The touch of water on your parched skin.
You open your mouth to catch the raindrops on your tongue.
And now the rain begins to fall fast like a picture of water being spilled over the place where you stand.
You look down and see that the rain gathers in the cracks and rivulets on the desert streaming and flowing quickly toward the singular point in the distance.
With your heart racing in your chest,
You run now across the wet desert excited to feel life flowing through you.
And you reach where the water has pooled at the farthest point north.
Looking down,
You see that a beautiful white lotus has grown out of the sand,
The dirt,
The mud,
And now floats on the surface of the pool of rainwater that has gathered.
As you look down at it,
It unfolds in front of your eyes.
And you sit down now upon the earth and look into the open lotus flower,
Seeing the petals open wide.
And your heart begins to beat,
To grow loud in your chest,
Speaking to you,
Showing you who you are.
And as you peer into the face of the white lotus,
You fall into the earth,
Into a beautiful tunnel of light.
And the farther you fall,
The deeper you move into yourself.
The more your heart expands with the love of being connected to the rhythm of all that is around you.
The white lotus now becomes a diamond point of light opening your third eye.
What does your third eye reveal to you about your true north,
Who you are,
Who you can become,
What your heart calls you to be?
See,
Feel,
Hear this vision now.
You feel the lizard return once more,
Poking you gently with its nose,
Bringing you back to this space here.
Sitting up once more,
You find yourself on a desert floor,
Looking again at the white lotus.
The rain has stopped and the clouds begin to slowly drift apart.
You turn to the lizard who waits for you to follow this ancient one.
Standing,
You thank the earth,
The lotus,
The rain,
For showing this part of your path to you,
This treasured piece of your true north.
And you follow the lizard back to the threshold,
Looking into his eyes and thanking him for this journey.
You are the beauty of the desert,
Cracks,
And all.
Thank you so much for joining me for this journey,
And may you share the gift of your true north,
Of who you are,
With the world around you.
Have a beautiful day.
Namaste.
